@derrick,
the quickest way is to get a fresh install windows PC.  fulat mention earlier You might have to get genuine windows.
If your sis laptop was genuine then try recover the whole system then try again, guarantee you will get the update.

Yep, I don't think that WP7 support USB tethering. But WIFI sharing/hotspot would be better as you do not have to be physically connected to both device so save the USB ports from wear and tear and not to mention the usb cable to bring along. Also no need to deal with the the USB 3G dongle software, mostly badly written.

there is an option to change display language under region + Language... and so far I see there is English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese...

but i think you will need to restart the phone to make the changes though...

i do aware there is 3 options display languages "English/Simplify Chinese & Traditional Chinese" which suppose to be changeable on Final 7720, because my wife HD7 using Ansar Custom 7720 Rom has above 3 changable languages. Final 7720 cannot change display language ,only keyboard input 16 language is working.

any 1 with Final 7720 can clarify this??? display language changable??

strange... it is working for me... I can change to Traditional Chinese display language... however not all apps will be translated into chinese though...

This is how I changed:

1. go to setting
2. region + language
3. on first option " display language", choose Traditional Chinese... after choosing it, a hyperlink-like sentence will be showing up right above the display option which is "tap here to accept changes and restart your phone" and voila~ Phone restart and show Chinese menu in just 15 secs or less smile.gif the beauty of WP7... fast boot up time smile.gif LOL

I thought when you picked the display language, then the region format will be changed accordingly as well?

well, I flashed it myself using the old WinMO 6.5 style... which in other words, the same way the HTC centre in Taiwan updated the phone for their customers...

cos last time I really couldn't wait any longer for our region Mango... however, when I tried to compared between the ROM posted in a few pages back with mine... they all look the same... so I thought they are supposed to be the very same ROM

I just love how they have different emoticons for every input language especially for chinese, hangul and kanji. It shows they're really into making it global without the fuss of regional versions, though they could improve on some other parts, like album-art/search functions for example.

Oh by the way, I bought my Mozart resin case from a seller here.
