Added on October 24, 2011, 6:28 pmCabal 2 Closed Beta is officially starting on 3 November, sadly only Korean are allowed to play the game for now.

Koreans that wish to try out the game can register at http://cabal2.co.kr/ and if they are lucky enough, picked by the developer to play in the close beta. The list of players will be announced on 1 November.

You need a fake Korean identification card number as well.

And you need to at least know how to read Korean since the registration form and the game are all in Korean.

Not sure about phone numbers and valid residential address though.

Also the list of 1000 people who will play in close beta should have been finalized by today, so it is quite pointless to do this now.

so, now we need wait until they let other ppl to host the game.. and this gonna be quite a while =x

very sad they seem to remove combo system which very familiar with cabal.

Yup is sad if there is no combo, cannot show off my 50 combo MFS but hope they are smart this time and keep most of the file on SERVER side so there is no hack like the one that ruin CABAL1. Also how come the graphic look like worse than CABAL1 ?

the combo system of cabal 2 similiar like most of the online game out there, hit hit hit with skill you get combo >_> like dragon nest... damm, i want that combo bar!

interested to try it out since not much interesting online game currently....

I have checked, it is not as simple as that.

Instead of chaining multiple attacks together like original Cabal, Cabal 2 has a new combo system that allows the player to use higher lvl skill for a split second after they use the lower lvl skill.

For example, a mage might have firebolt as her basic attack, and as she use firebolt, there will be a 1-2sec time frame for her to use fireball and after using fireball there will be an even shorter time frame for her to use an even higher lvl skill.

Scroll ot 1:11 and 1:16 and pay attention to the skill bar below and see the skill icon change as the mage and priest cast spell.

Anyone who have played Aion before will get use to Cabal 2. It's nice game and combo chains beside it's allowed you to choose which skill you're wanted to use.

Even if you downloaded the game you need a KSSN and a korean mobile number to register. So unless you have korean friend helping you out or you live in korea it's impossible to play the game.

I don't think it matters to us if the license that Asiasoft has gotten still stand. From the site, it meant that the game would go P2P model at it's initial stage for funds to further develop the game and probably down the pipeline development for the game, it would likely to revert back to its F2P model. However it still sounds wierd if its true.

nope no english patch, i used to play a lot koreans mmo, so kinda learn a bit korean language, the account made by my korean friend.

Latest rumor:
- Korea release date: Late December 2012
- SEA release date: Summer 2013
- EU/NA: End 2013/2014

This could be Cabal 2 SEA launching by Asiasoft or RO2.
Will have to wait 3 days to find out.

hey one question, is the game's combat system a targeting type ( Cabal 1 & Perfect World), or a non targeting type (Dragon Nest, Dragonica, Tera, RaiderZ, C9) ?

from obt gameplay video on youtube it really seem like cabal1 but i think they remove the old combo system.
for me, what made cabal as 1 of the best game that time was that combo system.
dunno if they add new system that differentiate this game from other game of this type.

so, it just point and click and auto attack while u use skills for extra damage..........yup, just like old cabal and other common online games out there......haizz, i was hoping EST soft would go the way of non point and click targeting combat with this new cabal.......

Where's the fast pace combo from Cabal ? Why did they remove something so unique...

is it me or i find skill animations of C2 to be less flashy as it was in C1?

they follow "WOW" game style....this would be great...
