Which knight are you fighting? is it the knight with the round shield with a rapier like sword (probably the balder side sword).
The critical attack you mention is probably the riposte attack. The attack wont initiate if you do not attack him. the sign is when he raise his sword pointing at you.
I read you can only attack him during this pose with a pierce attack (R2 with a thin sword) I never tried though since i got the drake sword

y? u need the item he guarded? if yes, just jump from the wood platfom which the 2 madafaka throwing the fire bomb. Running to the opposite building wall and u will drop to the place. Just take the item as soon as u landed. Say hi to the knight for k

Use ur shield wait for his atk if u want the easy way try to lure it onto the bridge where there is no handling,then try your best to kick it down there.I do that to lots of monster.

did anyone manage to get the boar's helmet? i use arrow and hits it's head until it died but no loot....

at 1st i have 10 uses on the flask... but after a while... i believe after i died, the flask returned to 5 .... hmmm so weird

ive reach the place near beginning(castle area) where theres a long stairs going up.. another going down... which one is easier to kill ?

anyone still experience freezing with this game?mine R3 and updated to 1.03

After the thread sped up I see no more spoiler tags XD and I just tested 1.03, no freezes at all for 5 hours playing online. And I noticed some spawn differences as well particularly in the Darkroot forest area.

yeah cos they spotted u farming souls near the cliff lol
