I had the same problem. That room after the boar has a ladder in it.

hmmm just downloaded the map from the ce website

the map is useless. lol and only a few areas to explore? according to the map.. now downloading the mini guide xD

The boar area has a gate which is usually locked in some videos I watched but for me it was open LOL. So I didn't need to go down the stairs.

if your timing is right....you can close the gate and slam the knight

i finally defeated the 2 gargoyle boss and got the axe from his tail. i was so happy when i got the axe but after looking at it's stats, the axe ain't such a big deal compared to the drake sword.

btw, anybody know how to defeat that lightning throwing monster at the basement near the blacksmith or you guys just make a run for it?

get hide behind the rock that his lightning can;t reached..take out ur bow then shoot it..

Do not use Auto Lock when fighting Boss because it's useless and will get you killed. You will be stuck with the camera and can't run away from the Boss when he is attacking you. When that happens it's wham, bam, thank you maam and you are dead.

i think from software will not patch it. just like they never patch the souls glitch in demon's soul.

anyway i found out the way how to do it in english but i won't say it here, but if anybody wants to know how to do it, you can pm me.
