It is adaptive to your driving condition, in a sense that you want torque on low end, and you want crazy cam durations and lift on high end. I think VTEC and MIVEC is based on the idea. So a high cam would cause your car to be, you know the drills, low drivability, erratic idles, and everything you can think of when of intalling a high cam in a car. Possible or not doesn't mean you have to make it. Some things is based on applicability. I'm not saying its absolutely possible to mirror the cam profiles because I'm not from the industry, but basic knowledge says it quite likely possible.
