Does it give as good quality as using it on the same system? Does that mean I can use canon 24-70 on a nikon since it is cheaper lol? But i guess it will look kinda weird tho... Haha sry for the noob question here...

i got some prob with me cam this morning. my whole cam hang. can shoot but cannot focus, cannot preview, cannot go into menu. but after i took out the BG, everything seems to be working fine. what seems to be the prob?

I don't mind the price tag if it is on par or better than the NEX. But too bad its just... ew. Tried the so called 400fps and 1200fps, no good.

Tried the 30fps and 60fps burst. On spec its sweet, but for real usage? It hits the buffer wall so fast despite using faster cards also same issue. Tried with a 45MB/s Sandisk Extreme Pro.

Hmm, never try 60mm before but the 105mm not to my liking. How's the 60mm perform?
Nature mostly. Very close up insects and plants of possible. I heard about the 70-180mm before but thought of a prime lens. Might take a look at it next time.
I also got a few recommends of sigma lens too but call me a fanboi, wanna stick with Nikon.
How's the 200mm AF-D ? Is it sharp ? Not interest in DX lens.

Yeah, the 105mm f2 DC is very nice    but the 105mm VR... well, not so nice (in my own opinion la). I'll check on sigma 150mm but no way for tamron regardless of how cheap and good they are. I had bad experience with tamron product and service so no more tammy for me... ever!

I need something that over 100mm and since i'm not in a hurry to get it, i'll try to search for a good deal on a 2nd hand 200mm f4 mostly. Thanks guys for all the help.

Sigma announced the 50-150 OS in February, shipment delayed mainly because of tsunami. Some peeps inquired the new launching date after that, they said will ship in October 2011. Now November already, still not out yet 

I want something to excel in a specific field. For 105mm micro is doesn't give me that feel. If it use for portrait, the 105 dc is better and for macro 200 (yeah, the distance is a b|tch) is better. Anyway, it's just my personal opinion, don't take too heavily in it.
If I can find a cheap 2nd hand I might try it out.

It doesn't excels due to the IF, which have Focus Breathing issue, need to know how to use it properly. Otherwise, it's great.
You can try get the older 105 AF-D version.

i canot imagine keep plugging CF card and transfer to harddisk is pain in arse.
