a little too early to ask question lol:
anyone own 24-70mm f/2.8 and 24mm f/1.4?
wan to hear pro and con there.

now save liao 5k... so 2 more months should be able to buy...

D70s will change after 1 years i buy the FF lens
now just wonder the lens weight, handling, and soft in wide open in certain distant bla bla bla..

i where got 24mm lens?
i still considering 24-70 or 24mm....

35mm will sell later i think
maybe sell it after i change body, sell with D70s

18-55 kit lens got la.

ya thinking what to get ....
mostly shoot hobby stuff or i bring my camera in travel or some party candid shot :s

and 24mm f/1.4 do sounds nice but sometimes in wedding candid shot is not good...
and f/1.4 DOF i scare is too thin ...

lol now i already got 35mm f/1.8G for D70s (and kit lens 18-55, 70-300 non-VR slightly fungus zoom lens, but 70-300 is not using anymore )

now wan go to FF, so now planning get a (epic) FF lens then get a D700-range DSLR body in 1 year later...(wait nikon announce replacement la haha)

hmm then i big probably will choose 24-70 then

because cheaper than 24mm f/1.4 also

is 24-70mm is metal built while 24mm f/1.4 is plastic?

6k ++ pay for f/1.4 and fast focus prime lens?

i still duno how fast the focus of this 2 lens...and if can compare with 35mm f/1.8 too.
because i feel 35mm foucs speed okay liao...hmmm

yes. but you can choose other than DSLR like nex3 la, GF3 la, etc... because it is smaller and lighter to travel.
i use my N8 also for shooting if i didnt bring my D70s XD

wah each one is expensive yo.

meanwhile i wait bandai and nikon make this for me

no tripod and use 35mm f/1.8 only

Tendency to overexpose in bright sunshine/high contrast situations
ISO button is poorly positioned, and cannot be assigned to any other control point.
Ditto white balance: poorly positioned, cannot be re-assigned
Exposure mode dial slightly loose, and easily knocked
Shooting mode dial can be awkward to manipulate
AF can be hesitant in poor light
Auto ISO function is confusing and poorly implemented (but no worse than any other Nikon DSLR)
Aperture not adjustable in manual mode in live view (and won't stop up/down in any mode until exposure).
No live histogram or exposure indicator in live view/movie shooting.

how muchie you bought?

hmm ya lor forget count the filter too... then total i need prepare is 6.5k to be safe...
if i plan to get da lens with a good UV filter.
