huawei e1762 that I got from the days where I use Maxis broadband.

It can be detected but there are some quirks with it, that I can't recall

you can get a umobile prepaid to try out the speed first, if it is good then subscribe its Hero Postpaid (RM70 for 15gb and unlimited calls). For downloads, you can get a burung hantu prepaid by celcom, test it out first then subscribe a data plan for RM30 as it has a 2tb quota(not unlimited but 2tb is a lot for a month) to download stuff from 1am to 7am. The rest of the hours are covered by the 1gb that you've subscribed.
