I registered already but not 100% sure going yet.

Wonder what they give free. Maybe hAP Lite or mAp Lite?
*

Not sure. hAP lite would be a nice addon for my home network though

If I do go, will probably change it to a paid one. Wouldn't mind the ROS license. Can use it for the Atom 330 sitting in my drawer for the past 4 yrs.

Atom 330, reminded me of my dedi laugh.gif

what do you plan to use it for?

I have no idea what a dedi is.

No plan yet, just experiment with it, I guess.

Btw, MUM Istanbul 2014 door gift was an RB951G-2HnD. Nice.

dedi = shortform of dedicated server

Indeed, RB951G has been serving me well

Any predictions?
Thanks, might have to look for an old Huawei. My trusty Alcatel X070S died on me. Went to LYP to look for a cheap replacement. Found Prolink PHS-301 and D-Link DWM-156 but both not recognised (no ports detected) by ROS. Both was around RM75. The others we above RM100.

It can be detected but there are some quirks with it, that I can't recall sweat.gif

If you use the mobile access point what pre pay data plan do you recommend? Currently I have just moved to new build area and no internet available until end of April sad.gif

I'm not local to Malaysia nor am I there now. But I'm keen to set up a temporary solution when I'm back next week

you can get a umobile prepaid to try out the speed first, if it is good then subscribe its Hero Postpaid (RM70 for 15gb and unlimited calls). For downloads, you can get a burung hantu prepaid by celcom, test it out first then subscribe a data plan for RM30 as it has a 2tb quota(not unlimited but 2tb is a lot for a month) to download stuff from 1am to 7am. The rest of the hours are covered by the 1gb that you've subscribed.
