Merge? Normally i just drop into same folder with movie file only.

I don't like to see so many files in the folder, so I merged the SRT file into the MKV file in PC.

Finally found the reason my 50st50 cannot do a proper top bottom 3D conversion. My media player was giving 16:10 pic output. Change it to 16:9 and the tv convert the pic no problem.

It happens to all movie?
If you are playing the movie through usb thumb drive using media player function?
What is the movie type and resolution. Have you ever try playing the same movie on pc through thumb drive as well?

If the thumb drive speed is too slow, it may cause problem, but I'm just guessing

I think the Panasonic 50 series is difficult to find now.
You either go for the 60 series or Samsung.

It happened to certain movie randomly. I play thru 500Gb and 1Tb hardisk thru USB port using media player function. I'm not sure whether if the movie size will affect or not coz the movie size I played is around 2-4Gb.

Are your hard disks powered or non powered?
If non powered, it could be your USB port got not enough power to drive the hard disk.
Try using a powered hard disk and play the same movie.
Powered hard disks are those 3.5 inches PC type.
Non powered hard disks are those 2.5 inches laptop type.

2-4GB file size is not big. Should not be a problem.
Try copy the file to a thumb drive and play from the thumb drive.
If still got problem, then it could be the file problem or USB port problem.
Play file in pc to confirm file is ok or not.
If play in PC with no problem, then it could be the USB port problem.

I don't think you can find any of the above models you mentioned.
ST50K 50" - outgoing model, limited units, if have, it will be demo units.
ST50K 55" - don't think got this size.
ST60K 50" - don't think got this size.
