Noise or floating black effects when you watch it in a very close-up distance ?  hmm.gif

Playing Source :

Astro 3D/HD or SD ?
Blu-ray 3D/HD ?
Download MKV 3D/HD ?
DVD up-scaled ?
PS3 Gaming ?

I was using the green slide provided here to break-in the TV (i) via USB and (ii) via Media Player to TV:

You really can's notice it at close-up and my eyes cannot tell the difference; pixel lighting is no issue on close-up.
But from a distance of 8ft or more, that cloudy patch (non-flickering) is visible; especially when the Green slide is displayed.

May need to call Panasonic Service to highlight problem???

Attaching the photo with location of the cloudy patch; not really floating black and hardly noticed if different color slides / templates are used.

FYI mine is 65ST50 and I used the HDMI 2 for ARC (Audio Return Channel) to my Receiver.Attached Image

Panasonic may end plasma HDTV production soon.
So sad, but I will still be keeping my eyes friendly plasma until the last day.

Good news: Panasonic's restructuring plan will let it keep making TVs, for now. Plasma is safe for now; thanks Panasonic and all plasma supporters in Lowyat.net.

Got a couple of 65"ST50 for RM6,999 today. Free BD player n 4 glasses per tv. Thought it was a fair deal. What do u guys think?

Great deal. Throw them out at the AV Fair and they'll be gone right away.
Am using one now and RM6,999 is indeed the last from Pana.
