no Young & De Gea!
*
Young still in la, only Lindegaard starting ahead of De Gea. Fletcher and Anderson in the middle. Valencia RB, Jones and Evans in the CB. The rest is as expected.

Today's player to blame is Evans! replacing Carrick after a good job well down being the scapegoat on Tuesday.

download la, whats so difficult sweat.gif

I think Norwich defence is what they wanted to do. Making important headers and blocks, and when they do they do it well too. Didnt concede any fouls near or in the box, didnt u realize? They do play deep though and its pretty obvious they are aiming for a point and if a lucky break for a counter maybe nicking a goal.

Nothing much we can do except maybe play a bit more sharper and more quick (but precise) passes and maybe 2nd half their defense will have lapses of concentration. I believe if we get the 1 goal, they will have to come out from their shell and thats when more opportunities will roll in.

like we all said, lose complain, draw complain, win also complain.

Dont waste your breathe, otherwise after every match also will "discuss" the same thing.

Hopefully can win at Anfield this season, its been a while since we did a double against them, the last was 2006-2007 i think?

EDIT: oh it was 2007-2008, 1-0 and 3-0 respectively. but the 2006-2007 one is sweeter. O'shea's last minute goal shooting into the Kops End tongue.gif

dont waste his talent on the RB position. Where to put him then? RM? got Nani...LM? got Young. Oh i know, on the bench!

put things in the perspective la. if other defenders are fit, do you really think he is going to play RB all the time? The only reason he played RB against Norwich is because we only have 3 fit defenders.

So Rooney is gonna learn his fate on Thursday about the red card. Being a United player and also an England player, i'm putting my money on maximum ban available for a red card tongue.gif

is there even any point in continuing this discussion? There's 3 players that will definitely get the blame not only in this thread, but any other discussion platforms where any fickle minded people can register and post. They are Evans, Carrick and Gibson.

If they perform well, "I am still not convinced". If they didnt perform well, "NAH!! See, i told u all he sucks!". In other words, any good performance will be disregarded while any bad doings will be added to the "LIST OF WHY <INSERT PLAYER NAME> SUCKS".

You can quote this if you want. The next time any of those 3 players played, and depending on their performances u can check back my post and see which response they will get, either "im not convinced" or "i told you so".

This is what i get from the other forum on De Gea Critical Moment save so far.... Definitely worth recaping...

Van Persie's penalty
Van Persie's volley
His save with his feet from Ramires' volley.
His diving save from Ramires' open goal
His save from Wilkinson's shot against Stoke
The other save against Stoke when he tipped it wide of the post
His save with his foot against Basel when they were through
The save from Suarez's first half attempt, not a hard one, but still made no mistake
Save from Kuyt's volley
Save from Henderson's looping shot
*
Someone butthurted in Pool thread woi, instead posted the Gerrard goal and ask "if he is so good then why didnt he save this shot" laugh.gif yeah a goalie is not good when he failed to save a shot which is supposed to be block by the wall rolleyes.gif

Oh my God some people, really have no sense of judgement and common sense and too easily offended. Football Lounge these days doh.gif

Suarez: hey, I heard you make a lot of MONEY in united?

Evra: Fcuk You! I dont look like a monkey!

Suarez: You're a great full BACK!!

Evra: damn it, now you call me Full Black!

Suarez: My Club is BIGGER than yours!!

Evra: What?! You called me nigger?!

HAHA!! LOL biggrin.gif
*
laugh.gif LOL

another one from Pool thread is that Suarez said he owned Evra. Evra took it literally and get offended laugh.gif

Lindegaard seems more in sync with the team, doesnt look awkward when he plays. This is due to a few reasons:

1. He has been with the team half a season compared to DDG
2. DDG has heaps of pressure on his shoulder, while Lindegaard may not, so he can arguably perform more confidently
3. Experience. Though this is debatable because believe it or not, DDG has had more senior games (93) compared to Lindegaard (85). But daily training would have account for something.

If you see the reasons above, all can be easily overcome by DDG after a period of time. I'm still prefering letting DDG be the main goalie and absorb as much match day experience he can, good one to boost confidence and play and bad one as well, if unavoidable, so he can learn from mistake. If that 2-3 blunders in the first few games changed him from the shaky lad into the awesome shot stopper we see now, i wonder how much will he learn if he continues to get bombarded.

City did to us what we did to Arsenal and also other teams at times. Get us out of our comfort shell, and get us on the counter. The only think i am not satisfied is the team seemed to give up at the end. other than that, City did well and get more than they asked for in fact.

But dont forget a loss is a loss, regardless of scoreline. be them winning 1-0 or 6-1, its still gonna be 3 points. Yea GD may be big, but at the end of the 38 games i dont think that matters, i dont remember any title being decided on that. IF this is the wake up call the whole team needs, then concede 6 if needed. At the end, if a wake up call materialize and that pushes us forward, i rather lose face now but laugh the most when the trophy is paraded.
