hi there, I wanna buy a car, proton of course so can I pay the 10% dp using amex? would appreciate if u all could tell.

Nvm, can get one. 5X TP on petrol and groceries....but not as good as AMEX which has 5% cash back. However, is more place accept though. So i use MU VISA as my backup...brows.gif

i have been to 7 showrooms, spoken to 18 different sales person (some from advertisement in newspapers)

still no luck finding one can accept by credit card in full.

only 1 accepts max of RM5k per vehicle, and not AMEX as well.


Gen-X suggested Proton main showroom Shah Alam along KESAS and also at Glenmarie

may be you can give go at it. since its too far away for me. cool2.gif

anyone using autobilling for paying telco bill?
if the transaction on weekend, do we get the rebate from amex?

i have make a booking through agoda.com last Thursday (8Dec) about 2pm, the record in maybank2u shows the transaction date was 9Dec (Friday) and posting date was 12Dec (Monday). Again, lost 5% rebate.. cry.gif

Based on 3% commission and on a RM100K, do you prefer the RM3K in discount given to you by the car dealer?

Assume 100k swipe Amex x5 = 500k TP
Change Jusco voucher at MBB 1U centre, 20k TP = RM100
which means 500k TP = RM2,500 only.
i.e. 2.5%

Therefore, get RM3k is better icon_rolleyes.gif
