QUOTE(spikeman @ Dec 12 2011, 05:16 PM) i have been to 7 showrooms, spoken to 18 different sales person (some from advertisement in newspapers) still no luck finding one can accept by credit card in full. only 1 accepts max of RM5k per vehicle, and not AMEX as well. Gen-X suggested Proton main showroom Shah Alam along KESAS and also at Glenmarie may be you can give go at it. since its too far away for me. Based on 3% commission and on a RM100K, do you prefer the RM3K in discount given to you by the car dealer?

Just booked my holiday thru Air Asia and Agoda using Amex. Weekend rates I suppose as all in same time zone.

Agoda discount of 6% applies to non tax portion (15.5%) which works up to about (.845 x 0.06 = .0507 ie 5.07%. Amex weekend rates is 7.5% less 2% exchg loss becomes 5.5%. Slightly better in the end.

I can't seem to understand this Air Asia Promo for Amex. Is it conditional for packages that include "Flight+Hotel+Activity" and not for "Hotel+Activity"? http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p.../PRO-Promotions

The Store/Pacific chain supermarkets do not accept Amex and also not below RM50 for VISA and Master. Also applies for the newly opened "Nirwana Supermarket" in Batu Pahat.

The largest oil company in the Philippines, Petron Corporation
The Esso Refinerery in Port Dickson has already been renamed to "Petron". I guess the rest is soon to come. Better redeem all your points before they become invalid.

QUOTE(beyond86 @ May 1 2012, 08:21 AM) 3000 point = RM45 only worth 1.5 sen per point or 1.5% cash back. Add to your Amex2 card = 5% + 2.5% + 1.5% = 9%.

RM5 one time rebate for Amex (RM70 spend). Must you register your card to get it just like the 15% campaign?
