I just discovered how to make Asphalt 6 run buttery smooth....use Tegrak or whatever program and lock the CPU speed to 1200MHz and above....locked at 1500MHz, it is unbelievably smooth...Locking the GPU at 267 MHz also helps

Instead of going through all the hassle of using 1 program to change the governer and another to control the clock speed, why now use Tegrak? it has everything and even can undervolt and control GPU speeds

Overclocking and Undervolting guide using Tegrak Overclock Ultimate v 0.5.1.3
The 5 states: (note: change only the core voltage, not internal voltage) L0: 1400MHz @ 1325mV OR 1500MHz @ 1350mV L1: 1000MHz @ 1125mV L2: 800MHz @ 975mV L3: 500MHz @ 925mV L4 : 200MHz @ 850mV Under scaling, leave as min 200 and max 1400. And also use the on demand (default) governer....when gaming in Asphalt 6, make sure to make the min 1400 also, so the CPU is locked at 1400MHz giving unbelievable gaming performance. Also lock the GPU for Asphalt 6 performance increase. The 200MHz can be brought lower to 800 or 825mV, but that is only at stock clock speeds, if overclock need to increase to 850mV Happy Overclocking and Undervolting !!! Seems like people nowadays prefer casings that look very stylish but don't offer much protection....
I ordered a casemate tough, so even if the phone falls nothing will happen. And also so that the camera won't get scratched easily and I can still grip the phone if my hands are sweaty... Those who love their phones and want absolute peace of mind should get one |

QUOTE(SnoopyDevil @ Sep 23 2011, 11:50 PM) hmmm just noticed when plugged in, whether its charging or data transferring the lockscreen wake-up is immediate within a second, compared to battery discharging which is about 1~2 seconds Read 1st page, it is about the deep sleep mode that saves power when on battery |
