I cannot seem to find it on my phone's market, even after using market enabler....how are we supposed to get it?

Now I see why, the app shows it is incompatible with the phone when checking in the online market...........

I wonder why the temperature of the phone rises like crap when the thumbdrive is plugged in, its like instant hotness..

does anyone else have this issue?

Symbian user here too, still do use my n97...rooting allows the phone to do stuff that requires very low level system access....read page 1 for more info....no, rooting does not give you access to any paid apps, just access to the locked up part of your phone. The UI replacement does not require a root, use things like ADW and SPB Shell 3D

How exactly do I use set CPU? i have it installed together with Tegrak, and the max in set CPU is whatever I make it in Tegrak....i thought set CPU can make it go much higher than Tegrak?

mine is KI2 with KI4 kernel and overclocked to 1.5GHz, and still only reaching 3400+...

the gradient cannot be avoided, because the phone runs on 16-bit colour space........if you put your comp into 16-bit colour mode also it will have the banding

Those look like hot/ bright pixels in the camera sensor....try taking a black picture with no light whatsoever and try taking another picture of something very bright, like the sky on a sunny day.

It should be obvious in dark pictures only I think.....DSLR owner here who is happy not to face such problems


As for the yellow tint, is it disappears at brighter levels, then don't need to worry. There is no guarantee that they will replace your screen.....even if they do, there is no guarantee that it would be any better than your previous one

Have you tried updating your camera firmware? run the apk and it will auto update and then you have to restart your phone...then try taking the picture again

He says there is a Frankenstein Non-wipe version....so if I flash it over my KI2 all my files and settings will stay the same?

Could someone who already flashed to KI3 or has experience with non-wipe flashing kindly please help me out ...I would really appreciate it

Easiest way out is use advanced task killer and make all other apps as ignored and autokill every half an hour

I totally know how to flash, I was just asking if my data and settings would be wiped if I used the non-wipe version

I already used titanium backup and backed up all apps + data.
I want to upgrade to 2.3.5 KI3....I was considering the non-wipe version but many people here say better to wipe and start over then restore the APPS ONLY....where exactly can I find the option to wipe the dalvik cache? Currently rooted on KI2...so what would you people kindly recommend?

But the dalvik cache wipe is under the CWM.....once I flash to 2.3.5, and before I root it, how do I wipe it? or do I wipe it now in my old firmware then flash?

Does titanium backup take really long to restore the apps? I clicked restore and it is still stuck at 0% and hasnt progressed

Thank you so much for telling me about the USB debugging setting for Titanium Backup..now I have updated to 2.3.5 and restored all my apps......

2.3.5 is so much faster and smoother than 2.3.3

WOW, now so many ppl using the phone now.....time to switch back to my n97 mini

Just kidding about the switching part....the phone lagged on the ori ROM, now I am on my 4th custom ROM and performance has improved so much, can even play 360p youtube straight through the browser (yeah, it has flash support now), and now doodle jump is available for it ....

I set up the SPB on both my SII and my n97m such that they look very similar, so easy to transition between both

And now you wouldn't need the HDMI out adapter anymore....hahahaha
