Siyah kernel already updated to 1.7.4!! but X-power only use 1.7.3 in its SP.

changed UV_mV_table parsing method to make UV scripts with 7 and 6 steps compatible with the kernel. if you have already UV script in init.d folder it will not cause lockups anymore.

where can we get the UV script as mentioned above? how to install it in init.d folder?

I do not understand why some users has so much issues with using siyah kernel. I have been using ver 1.5 till 1.7 on the Touch Extreme and Touch Power roms - I do not faced any issues of freezing, poor battery life etc
The only thing I did was just freeze the default Daemon and just use setcpu to control my processor speed ( minimum 500 to 1400 MHz) and undervolt it across all by 100mV.
I never bother changing any of the scripts - just use all the default settings
I have even tested siyah ( 1.5 to 1.6) on Cognition 1.5.1 - works beautifully too

I totally know how to flash, I was just asking if my data and settings would be wiped if I used the non-wipe version

Not true bro, some said that HTC Andreno 220 GPU is faster than Mali especially playing NFS.

It still hangs.. esocially on HD videos..
Playing with YouTube also hang.. *sigh*
Re-install youtube a lot of times but still the same
2nd HD video will hang.most probably due to insufficient memory!
But using Mobo Player iy have the Optimize option before each video..
But durinf watching online iy still hanh /sad/

just done with kies, latest official firmware is now KI1? android version is 2.3.5 now. That said, camera firmware update is still not done. =/

maybe i'm going to stick with X-Power for a while. don't want to redownload all of my games again. the titanium back up seems cannot back up all the downloaded data, only back up the apps basic.

Guys, i just feel that my SGS2 GPS locates the satelites quite slowly. I tried to enter the *#*#1472365#*#* secret code on the dialing pad for GPS test and attempted to change the setting, but nothing happened after the final * being entered.

Any idea?

yea i'm on 2.3.5 with KI1, is it the latest one? coz i saw KI4 and KI2 firmwares.
Battery life doesn't seem to improve though, that's from my pure observation, no recording % per hour or whatsoever.

Any solution to the camera firmware update?
