most lubricated gloves would be using some sort of liquid anyway. ideally, oil from your fingers but if fingers not producing oil fast enuff, no choice la.

i stopped cleaning my phone screen -- this way, can slide smoothly. no need saliva. but the times i do clean the screen, i make sure i dun have plans to play any games or do any text-ing immediately. wait until screen gets oily enough before start again...

plus, not that gross leh. some ppl click thru paper also jilat jari... so no diff la...

update1: checked it out... oooh... not free. hmmm... but it looks good. from the screenshot, i think can even set what time the profiles kick in. i wonder if it can also control screen brightness, etc... that would be cool. ok, i'll read it more later. was just flipping thru and didn't go in details.

what about comparing iphone with my notebook then? essentially same type of gadget. got processor. got screen.

i have always wondered... nice wallpaper/ background, but once we put icons there, the nice wallpaper is covered up... cannot really enjoy it. till i found out the launcher i'm using got opacity option.


ya, i know... i'm slow. i'm just beginning to explore this launcher thingy...

can also add more icons to the menus besides just the phone, message, internet...


but i noticed... most live wallpapers are actually just animated background. not many interesting ones which are interactive...

i just realised i may have accidentally deleted my warranty sms... was going to check the expiry... and see if i got lucky as well.

how to hide statusbar?

for me... still exploring the current launcher... 3-4 days back, i found out the menu at the bottom (phone, message, etc) can slide and add three more. silly me... didn't try and slide the opposite direction. anyway, yesterday, accidentally slide the other way and found out 1 got 3 more slots... so happy... with this... i can have the crucial icons there already... btw, this bar is called what bar (the one at the bottom and got phone, message, etc)... any specific name for it?


based on what was discussed in the SenQ thread (over in this android section), yr2 onwards should be to other place and not samsung. some sales ppl might tell you this. others are more honest and say otherwise. the one i approached told me SenQ/ Sen Heng got some contract with this phone repair company. they will usually send to that company. but replacements are of course original... however, recond parts, second hand parts, etc... that one... dunno.

probably old news, but for those waiting for official ROM... can we expect one soon for MY?!?

I mentioned a few times before... GLU games... if you check permission requested... it starts the service when phone starts up. then it stays in background after that, even after kill, it will come back. GLU games are on my personal black list

something that came with your GLU games.

just sharing my battery usage... first half of the day, was not able to plug it into my notebook.

unplugged from the wall at about 630am. this is at 100%.

from then onwards, usage included:
* taking about 10+ photos
* surfing and reading news (about 15-20mins)
* replying to messages on viber, whatsapp and Google+ Huddle (now called Messenger <-- wonder if they will get sued using this) -- in total got about 20mins usage
* used GPS to determine my location (once)
* played internet-based game for abt 10mins

all the above on 3g network.

by 130pm, phone battery down to just 29%. it's quite horrendous... no?

dun wanna OT but to answer your Q...
* i dun like games that requires permission to start up a service when i start up my phone... why need to run a service? other games dun need that...
* i dun like the idea that i have non-essential service running in background and consuming battery. usually things that run in background are malwares.
* i can't remember if you can actually kill it... i think it comes back on again... again, behavior similar to malware.

i think earlier on... got many ppl... in fact, only one who was sure dun have is benny888. i'm assuming you meant a pink spot on the photo when taking the photo under low lights condition...

never really bothered me... though i have this issue.

some say can be fixed with some firmware update and setting changes... but again, din bother...

this pink spot on my phone looks like this (the area circled in green):


but today's photo... the pink spot might not be so obvious...

again, happens only in low lights condition and since the pink spot is quite faint (can hardly see anyway), its no issue for me.

fuchsia is not purple?!? lol...

nar... i have 2 monitors... when i view the photo on one of then... the pink spot becomes very obvious... but again, this does not bug me. i'm just sharing the photo for those interested to know how the pink spot looks like.

i actually had one photo where the pink spot was more obvious... but deleted it already...
