how to update your PS3 , kindly refer page 1 of this thread .. lots of info there , you wont be able to install all content of the game into your PS3 , some games require installation for faster loading time , yet still need the BD disc itself

thats not a bad thing, bd are much more reliable, and tougher(but doesnt mean you can ignore the cautious side as well).ive bought a few 2nd bd's and thus far they are clean and working like new.so dont worry much, just take the normal precautions to avoid damaging any type of dics and you would be fine.also good disc=good return/value when reselling.

I see from box is japan set... so inside ada power cable , console and video cable and controller.

What i see is the power cable is 125v which is japan using... Malaysia not mistaken is 220v or 240v right? So can direct masuk meh without the adapter? The black power box which laptop usually have.

Or izit built in?

that is the power cable plug. change the plug to Malaysia cable plug then ok already. unless you have the adapter for the 120v cable.

which mean the cord change to malaysia 240v cable cord right? which means ps3 internal universal adapter can use in any country? Just change the power cord?

There's one option for this. Download games from PSN, then you don't need disc to play the game. But not all games are available in PSN and the price is higher too.

Some are higher on PSN not all. This games are cheaper (eg Prince of Persia, Assassin's Creed II GOTY, Split Second, etc.) especially when on sale though you most are either from PSN US or UK.
