the price are fixed by sony .. all standard price for sony centre / sony style .. usually MY set will be slightly higher then other imported PS3 sets

most people go for MY set because of the warranty by Sony Malaysia , but from my opinion buying imported PS3 set also not a problem to buyers , since most of gameshop got a complete replacement parts for it .. of course you need to pay for it .. unless no replacement parts then it will be another story

plus most gameshop will send for warranty claim to those who bought from them , just pay minimal fees .. just wait until your console back at their shop , usually it will take around 1 or 2 weeks time

network problem , not your PS3

what thing you need to careful when buying a ps3 :

1. most important , its not CRACK version ( Jailbreak version ) , go for un-modded ps3
2. check all the items that should come with the ps3 set
3. go for latest model , CECH-3000 series 320GB/160GB model are the latest in the market
4. if there is a shop offering like the situation below ( definately a RECON or REFURBISHED set ) , please dont buy !
a) 250GB or 120GB model
b) cech-2500 series and below

recommended items to buy :

1. ps3 slim vertical stand
2. good quality v1.3b HDMI cable ( my advise go for v1.4 hdmi cable )
3. ps-move starter pack ( include with ps-eye camera + motion controller + ps-move demo disc )
4. ps-move navigation controller
5. ps3 blu-ray remote
6. additional dualshock 3 wireless controller

firmware :

1. yes , everytime there is latest firmware , just update it .. cause firmware will improve your system performance , bugs fixed , sometimes sony will add few features to the system , plus its FREE to download

1. save some space for your entertainment setup , it looks cool when the console on vertical position
2. air ventilation much more better for the console ( so avoid buying those INTERCOOLER )

all playstation 3 already designed for vertical and horizontal position , so far there is no problem at all

i think fifa 12 got some issue , did you download the latest patch ?

yea must download the game patch cause EA already fixed it , nothing to do with the ps3 system

1. yes malaysia set of playstation 3 slim 320gb RM1199 , only 320gb available at sony shop

2. its not advisable to play pirated stuff @ playstation 3 system , it will harm the lens fast

1. your ps3 slim ~ singapore set , if you plan to send authorized service centre .. you have to send it to singapore itself ( sony malaysia wont accept imported ps3 sets , they only accept malaysia ps3 sets .. official sets )

2. the best way is send to gameshop that provide repair services , im not sure in melaka how much do they charge for it .. usually i will charge it around rm290

just select as a " gift " .. they wont ask you for the proof of purchased .. if they want it .. say to them , you bought a present for your wife , then you gave her the receipt arrr ?

it just the same for the picture quality .. the cheapest i found around rm8 at tesco .. but cheapest always at the risk of lost signal .. my advice at least choose hdmi cable between rm25 - rm40 , good enough for gaming and movie
