QUOTE(prozak53 @ Sep 20 2013, 03:43 PM) What happened to your "trained for rigorous thinking" and "diagnostic" skill? Even bro crab This kind of response is a classic case of the lack of knowledge of a communication process. Let me lead you through a thinking process: who posted that, specifically stated that he's joking. Cheers! Issue - analysis - findings - reaction (impact). Reaction is in one's state of mind, governed by understanding and one's emotion. For you who see the need to employ analytical skills to a reaction (what is it? Yes, the impact), you need to go ask a psychologist. But you need to pay consultation fee wor, oh just a joke...you need it. For you from past to now have the weakness of shooting at others left and right, above and below, like a crazed guy. Just beware, you have exposed yourself right at the center. You won't be hit by a joke, but by a good shot. This post has been edited by Supreme1394: Sep 21 2013, 12:59 AM |

Previously, we had telecom fix line and used their promotional internet package, the cheapest then. Pros and con: no data limit but is stuck to home use only. Now we only use Celcom mobile Broadband without a fix line. Our monthly bill becomes cheaper than before as there in no fix line charge.
The fix line is without data limit but if you are not a heavy user, broadband is actually cheaper and fast. As whenever your usage exceeds the quota, your data transfer becomes very slow or pages can't load. The telco will sms you to instantly top up for only that month itself. The amount will be in the next month's bill. Plus we get to use the mibile broadband for all our mobile notebook, Macbook etc anywhere we eat out to enjoy internet, do programming or watch Youtube etc. This means not much for movie or song download. QUOTE(Mel2 @ Sep 29 2013, 08:35 PM) Ah, I haven't even go to check defect. About hairline cracks, the Bandar Utama home that I am staying now, a highly sought after property has single vertical hairline cracks running down the walls in a few spots. But they is no instability all these years. The foundation is stable. Hope the cracks are not serious. Houses usually settle during the first few months and even years after construction, so minor wall cracks are likely. However, gaping cracks, separation and horizontal crack lines might be signs that the issues . In BSC, some workers there said they are caused during plastering work and are mostly replastered. There is no guardhouse. Under the hot sun the whole afternoon with only a small umbrella for shade, one would be glad if they still maintain their composure and able to recognise faces! Yes they know us too. I think they are doing their very best under a harsh working condition. This post has been edited by Supreme1394: Oct 2 2013, 12:56 PM |

Went there 2 days ago and found no burning or dust.
Unit undergoing second round defect action. Saw one Banyan already fitted aircond. Another two with side and back extension that really looks great! The renovation work that was done by some owners really adds on to the value of the property there. The Lowyat Shah Alam2 thread says Tesco opening in October this month. Anyone visited Tesco? As BSC community service, I would like to pass the following info that may help some home owners who are planning to do home renovation:
Malaysia International Home Renovation Expo, 1 to 3 November, PWTC KL. Time: 11am to 9pm. The date is confirmed by calling the organizer tel: 03-90563323. If you check another website on PWTC Calender, the date is 3 to 5 Nov. (http://www.eamo.my/seek-events/pwtc-events-2013). According to the organizer, this is wrong. Many may miss the correct date. These are copied from website: http://www.shoppingnsales.com/2013/10/14/1...or-design-show/ Malaysia International Renovation + Home & Interior Design Show Malaysia’s Premier One Stop Home Renovation Event Everything in ONE Event Design + Renovation + Deco + Furnishing + Landscaping FREE Admission 20,000 innovative products Landscaping 150 ID Designers Customize Designs Direct from Factory 300 companies Amazing deals Prizes to be won This post has been edited by Supreme1394: Oct 22 2013, 05:23 PM |

QUOTE(awiva @ Oct 23 2013, 08:01 PM) I think we discussed this before. It all depends on whether the concrete platform is built to support that much weight. Agree, Awiwa. Nowadays it is almost a standard feature for modern homes, looks good but not suitable as balcany. Mostly meant as a porch roofing only. There are no cross beam to support the middle, and the existing pillars may not be designed to take extra dead weight. Best to ask an architect /engineer before do anything. I would say it is probably ok if one person go out there to hang clothes. But if you want to have BBQ party up there, no need to invite me..... |

QUOTE(alligator_28 @ Oct 24 2013, 10:16 AM) For Banyan semi-d, can try ask KLK's engineer's tel. No. is 012 373 9107. Mr. Ooi from Kemas Sepakat. The last we called, he was said to be out for a meeting. So we didn't want to disturb him. Till now haven't called him yet. Anyhow, KLK's counter staff and even Mr. Chow the project manager have told us ( we were keen on this) the same as what Awiwa has said, only for one person eg. A maid to hang clothes they suggested. By the way, it will be unsightly to see things like baju hanged out there. My opunion. It reminds me of Tun Dr. Mahathir's comment when apartment dwellers at Putrjaya hanged their 'flags' to dry at windows. Ideally, if budget allows, it can become a beautiful balcony that will be a great place for gathering. This post has been edited by Supreme1394: Oct 24 2013, 10:41 PM |
