ohmegosh.. Arsenal blew their 2-1 lead through 2 own goals.. their season seems horrific enough.. hope tomorrow's Chelsea game against MU, Chelsea can do what MU did to Arsenal.. Chelsea to win 8-2 ! laugh.gif (over-ambitious) A win is all that matters happy.gif

I still don't quite get why we would get so pricey youngsters only for them to be out on loan.. might as well not buy them in the first place, and continue monitoring the market to find suitable replacements. I think Arsenal's new recruit, Arteta from Everton, would've been a great add to the blues.

if we just scout them without making any move they might left us for another club...if we spend 5 mil of 4 potential youngster and end up with just one 30mil worth of player fulfill his potential then we already save 10mil if we buy him later at his prime state...if just investment...

Chelsea already preparing for the next wave since Mourinho..this all youngster will eventually push the 30+ players out of the team...purely based on the performance...hopefully..

Arteta is a great CM..no doubt but where can he fit in the blues??? I rated Lampard,Mata,Ramires,Mikel and Essien ahead of him...

The post-mourinho restructuring happy.gif I hope AVB will be in for the long-term, that way, the club can have more stability to progress.. keep sacking managers is not the way to go! So high cost if keep sacking.. LoL laugh.gif the money can be used to invest in player development instead happy.gif

Hopefully the young ones are worth their value =) Otherwise, if suddenly star players start running away like at Arsenal, we're in big trouble.. LoL

Yes, a very sad news indeed. But Nico had been with us for quite sometime and have contributed well. If he really leave, then it will also be for the best.

It's ok if he wants to leave happy.gif More space for young players to develop laugh.gif salute his contributions to The Blues happy.gif

the market is changing nowadays dude, and chelsea need to change with it. we can't compete with the big spenders i.e : madrid, city and expect to come out tops. every once in awhile roman will feel the need to secure a big name he likes, but as these 'experiments' have proved to be unsuccessful thus far, he'll surely be more careful with his wallet in the future. hence the focus on bringing in more prospects, and targeting slightly pricey but 'near finished' products such as ramires, luiz and mata.

arteta? well to put it simply, he's injury prone and not good enough for chelsea imo.
*
Arteta's age wouldn't suit Chelsea's current goal too. LoL laugh.gif He's about the same age as Essien, but he could be a great pair with Mata in midfield.. LoL smile.gif

It won't be as bad as the thrashing Arsenal received, Luiz should be coming on in the second half to strengthen the Blue wall a bit happy.gif Pretty confident Malouda is going to come in sooner or later to inject more offense too laugh.gif So cheer up Blue Brothers(and sister), we can still win this game - there's another 45minutes to go! happy.gif

was seriously disapponited that we lose at the Bridge again.. however, I can still see Chelsea finishing in the top 5 happy.gif

IMO, luiz making too much error at the back.. and cech having his worse season(other than the one where he got knocked on the head ><")

I think come January, some oldies need to go while they still have good market value, at least to fund new players and help prepare for the Financial Fair Play happy.gif No need for heavy shopping .. LoL

-update-
I would not mind at all if Cech stepped aside and allowed Courtois(on-loan at bilbao) to become our new #1. For a 19-year old, he's doing quite ok at Bilbao happy.gif
And since there are mega rich clubs like PSG(or PSV ><") in France and Anzhi in Russia, good opportunity to cash-in on the veteran players llike Drogba happy.gif

dunno if our oldies still have market value, beside their wage demand was like wow.

courtois is at atletico madrid. not bilbao. dunno if he doing well or not. didnt really follow la liga. =)
*
Their wage is heavy, that's why their departure can only bring more good than harm, especially in terms of Financial Fair-Play, lower wage can help balance the books happy.gif
And thank you for correcting me on the club that Courtois is at happy.gif

Conclusion, sell Malaouda and Drogba. Rotate older player with younger energetic player. Call back Kakuta and let him replace Malouda. Agree?
*
Yeap, agree with the sale of Malouda and Drogba happy.gif All AVB gotta do is put a "for sale" tag on them when the Jan window opens, got clubs waiting for them one, LoL happy.gif

AVB deserved to be slack because of his rotation policy. Rotation will create instability and inconsistent result. Ever wonder why all these while Ranieri never brought us any medals? I'm not saying minor switch of players, I'm saying over rotation for the entire squad. Even our formation looked inconsistent and we almost had no identity. Despite that I still have faith on AVB because we are still in four three competitions but he needs to work out our defense and starts to play our best eleventh regularly which I can see him struggling.  mad.gif
*
LoL, Benitez always apply rotation policy during his tenancy at Liverpool.. happy.gif

QUOTE(chitchat @ Nov 21 2011, 07:11 PM)
So CECH is no longer good enuff ? lets see who is the hero that win us the game at BLACKBURN ? and that is just the game before LIVERPOOL. How forgetful.
*
LoL, sorry if I offended you.happy.gif but if you see it as an overall, his form isn't the same as previous seasons. Don't get me wrong, I know he's a great keeper and helped the blues to achieve trophies .. but he's no Van der Sar, LoL happy.gif And yes, Courtois isn't exactly a 5-star keeper yet, LoL happy.gif
