I still don't quite get why we would get so pricey youngsters only for them to be out on loan.. might as well not buy them in the first place, and continue monitoring the market to find suitable replacements. I think Arsenal's new recruit, Arteta from Everton, would've been a great add to the blues.

The post-mourinho restructuring I hope AVB will be in for the long-term, that way, the club can have more stability to progress.. keep sacking managers is not the way to go! So high cost if keep sacking.. LoL the money can be used to invest in player development instead

I would not mind at all if Cech stepped aside and allowed Courtois(on-loan at bilbao) to become our new #1. For a 19-year old, he's doing quite ok at Bilbao
And since there are mega rich clubs like PSG(or PSV ><") in France and Anzhi in Russia, good opportunity to cash-in on the veteran players llike Drogba

Their wage is heavy, that's why their departure can only bring more good than harm, especially in terms of Financial Fair-Play, lower wage can help balance the books

LoL, sorry if I offended you. but if you see it as an overall, his form isn't the same as previous seasons. Don't get me wrong, I know he's a great keeper and helped the blues to achieve trophies .. but he's no Van der Sar, LoL And yes, Courtois isn't exactly a 5-star keeper yet, LoL
