Perhaps lucky abit that Luiz wasn't sent off (albeit Ba was offside), and that Colocinni injured.

But good job to the team for such a good performance. Great job kalou, I knew he was good enough for us.

Now I get why AVB use Torres as sub, when enemy tired, then we play a few long passes for Torres to chase. biggrin.gif

Good game to Newcastle, Tim Krul was a really good keeper, no wonder 1-1 with Man Utd.

Anyways, JT most definitely man of the match.

Nice game, our offensive is very good!
While the defence is not up to par with 08/09 season yet sad.gif
KTBFFH!

Only Luiz a bit below par..
But I think AVB change tactic..
where our RB n LB didnt go forward too much..
Well that works !!

We played high line, just that Newcastle pump a few long but slow balls to Amoebi, thats why we keep retreating until look as though play deep.

Now for the important game against Valencia. Come on Chelsea!

Finally a boost to our spirit for our upcoming crucial Champion's League match. There were up and downs and as always, we were better during the first half and always look tired after the break. Mata was fantastic sending Drogba the goal and several attempts before that but Sturridge was just simply unlucky.

Without the RB and LB going forward, we show off a better defensive stance but still there were some chances for Newcastle to score, there were 3 or 4 shots which hit the woodwork, yes, unlucky.

seriously Torres can get back to his old days.

he just friggin need someone to play behind him.

maybe we should play 4-4-1-1 with Mata behind him.

I don't know about you all, but I thought Drogba did well until 60th minute when he tired.

He flicked on balls for teammate, hold up play well. Also quite often he pulled Ryan Taylor infield a lot of times for Danny.

3-0 win is extremely tasty, especially when you have low expectation.
Best performance so far this season, better than Bolton I would say. The spirit, the attitude, the ambition etc, everything is very positive.

First, I will give my credit to....
Terry, no? Sturridge, no? Drogba, no? Kalou for scoring the second goal!no.

ORIOL ROMEU.
Definitely the man who changed our slump into winning ways. I can't believe how important is he to our team. He is more important than we thought.

I am satisfied with everyone performance today. Manager, the players, everyone else! The defense can be improved though, Luiz's foul might just cost our game. Lampard might just be our non good player tonight(He's not bad, but he's just not good enough if you compare to other player, that's why I called him 'non-good' laugh.gif)

AVB's substitution are just perfect, Kalou's performance was so so but at least he scored the second goal! Meireles and Torres sub provide great energy in front rather than sticking with tired Mata and Drogba.

i think if we play torres alone, he is gonna have pressure for scoring goal. why dont AVB play him along with drogba? why cant any striker partner drogba? sweat.gif even anelka have to push to play left wing.

Yea.. if DD is as energetic as before.. i believe we grab more opportunity today.. however seriously i seldom sae DD had body advantage during this match.. he is a bit like ANELKA.. some time holding the ball back.. and he don dribbling pass as often as before
