i hav both pad, i would say depend on u see wat u nid, if u get used wit 5L n suddenly change to 4HD,  u will feel the way u drag the speed ar very different mean more faster on HD pad. it take me 1 week to get use wit the drag feeling haha... is juz tat u nid to reset up ur cpi setting to find the 1 more suitable on hd pad.. coz different...

both, 5L n 4HD, i try wit xai n ikari laser last time, 4HD provide more smooth n speedy on both mouse, mean u drag on 4HD is more faster than 5L, then i reset my cpi setting to match up my gameplay. so far ya i found it. same as the sensei i nid to adjust a little bit, dunno y. haha.. i feel sensei is more accurate for low sens player, specially rifler guy, confirm very steady hs as i can feel it. sadly im not low sens player haha..

so lets say if I get a new mousepad... for the Ikari Optical what would be the smoothest?? my current cheapo mousepad is 30cm x 24.5cm but I have space for 35cm x 25cm... any recommendation?? current one is cloth but I'm open to hard mats as well if it means improvement in gliding speed and smoothness

I'm using 9hd on my DA there is no problem like what hellkeeper said. i got smooth without any delay.

why would one wanna change the glide on a new mouse?? I thought the original ones are the same?

Kinzu users, can any of you recommend me a mouse pad for this baby? I tried using it with Razer Goliathus and it felt very rough

throwing a 4HD on Kinzu is like buying Brembos for Wira not to say they aren't people that did that..but uhmm..

4HD/9HD is engineered for Sensei Xai, so the best is you get that mat. But then Mantis is okay too, no problem sticking to that mat

I guess u have mentality problem dude , i'm a gamer which can say try most of the gears ,and Razer was my first gear when i start playing FPS game
