Consumers and especially fans should complain. I find most gears manufacturer cutting back on cost not only SS. Bought a almost 300+ Logi keyboard and found fading label etching less than 6 months.
Seriously so much for "quality engineering".....

I just bought Steelseries Sensei today First impression, it is more solid than Xai, buttons and scroller seems to be more responsive and feedback is great. The bad stuff would be the software is a buggy/sluggish, the first attempt to install it tries to flash my mouse firmware and crashed. I need to follow some special instructions from Steelseries to get it re-do again.

In the software I also cannot customize the button as volume up/down (since I'm using Filco, I don't even have that option). Anyone knows what's the macro to turn volume up/down?

7G backspace key is the same size as the number keys too I can claw DA, but palming it is more comfy. No kana demo units, cannot say anything about it yet

is it me or does the new SS products look awkward? it doesn't feel steelseries-ish.
Ion fail mang, their older controller looks much more better than that. But I wonder why don't they use shapes instead of 1-4, hard to brain mang.

more like trying to hard and the end result is an epic failure. their latest stuff is really zzz, flux, ion, that sim wheel, D3 stuff etc is really fukken facepalm. There should instead continue their volvo-ish tradition from their steelkeys, steelsound etc.
