QUOTE(TechnoG @ Jan 13 2012, 02:09 PM) eh lol, the exchange rate is only 4.0+? waffak, all this while I thought it was 5..damn lah. around there la, since the economy now also up and down. Lets say 400-600 max. but expensive mang, leopold ones is even cheaper. Even Filco are cheaper. But then again, 6G solid mang. If same built quality like the 7G, even a car going over it would not be a problem |

QUOTE(whitedrake88 @ Jan 14 2012, 08:27 PM) I don't mind the feet, i don't think there would be any difference thou.QUOTE(H3LLKEEPER @ Jan 14 2012, 08:30 PM) I would say kana is quite ok for me I wonder how would an optical sensor affect me since I am used to laser (Sensei , Xai, Ikari Laser). Haha. As for the switches, i assume the Kana's switch would be harder to press compared to the Kinzu V2 pro right? kinzu is a tad bit small for my liking but i like the omron on the kinzu v2 pro feet sucks i agree but can buy kinzu teflon feet and change it |

Hard mats are made with very durable 'hard' plastics, should be able to resist heat from a mouse. As for bending issue, just keep it upright, it will be fine.

QUOTE(Playinteractive @ Jan 17 2012, 08:55 PM) Depends on your budget, nowdays gamers are more to cloth pad because most of them are low sensitivity and require a bigger mousepad, which is cloth pad. Isn't QCK+ XL size instead of L?SteelSeries offer different size and thickness. QcK mini (S) - RM35 QcK (M) - RM49 QcK Mass (M) with 6mm - RM69 QcK+ (L) - RM69 QcK+ SK Gaming, Natus Vincere, Dota 2 with 4mm - RM99 QcK+ Tyloo, Fnatic, EG with 4mm - RM79 Hope these information can help you. |

Kana's firmware will have an update soon. Apparently Steelseries are making a final inspection before releasing it.
Question is, will it gain the trust from gamers after its problematic debut? |

But the DA got more problems, double click issue etc. That's why they came out with the Refresh? Lol.
What if, the Kana is set to lower CPI, like 800-1000. Will it still spin like that? If yes, probably its the sensor's defect. If it can happen to one mouse, it may happen to others too, but some are not aware. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 19 2012, 12:56 PM) xai also got double click issue which u know already true. Aiseh, i think i'll skip the Kana liao almost all mouses uses omron switches, even razer...so any mouse will eventually get that issue. of cos with more ppl buying a certain brand, u see more complains. same with cars, same with anything else. and nothing to do with cpi, you see the mouse specs that says inches per second and 15G etc etc...that part. the kana from the specs sounds like its using the same sensor in the roccat kova+...and i guess some ppl got their own opinions on that roccat mouse |

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Jan 24 2012, 01:14 PM) wiggle problem will exist even though you upgrade Kana's firmware to 259 lah. The problem itself lies at the sensor itself, higher malfunction speed..800 is just nice, above that it is just a disaster.. Agree, i am certain its the sensor problem too. Happened to my Ikari laser before but yeah, the jump bug is fixed. But heck, who the hell does that jump shit in real life..and the plastic feet is shit mang, can't glide that well compared to teflons. SS, Y U NO USE 3090 and teflons? *EDIT oh btw, Kinzu v2 149 firmware ada new problem. Kinzu v2 > Kana. le me high dpi user, what to do.. |
