QUOTE(outdoorxplorer @ Sep 16 2011, 11:38 PM) Am using Maxxis CrossMark Exception Series for a while now. Been happy with its performance and durability but all LBS in town is out of stock. What are the closest replacement to the awesome tire? ikon. bikepro got xmark.

guys, im to choose between these 2 forks, rockshox sid vs fox f-series 100, for xc riding, based on reviews from internet n advise frm my LBS rockshox will be the better choice due to easier settings/maintenance n price wise but as for me i was actually eyeing on the Fox, kindly advise... thanks

fox is easier to maintain, and setting. it's THE std. most rider whom tried both will also prefer char of fox. dont waste time and $ on others.
most bike shop prefer promote RS cause it's main disto is not here so it's open market where as fox is under KS Spore, they have shop in dsara and Bikepro is also their main local shop.

Ello everyone! I've stopped biking for about, 11 years now, recently I've an itch to pick up this hobby again.
Am in the budget to get a XC Hardtail with a RM2k budget - My eyes are currently set on GT's Avalanhe 3.0. Any comments?
Or would there be an equivalent recommendation from well let's say, Kona, Giant, or other brands? Hope to recieve some advise from you guys here.

lol. fanboys. if get top end shock i doubt you would be disappointed. got alot of highly rated forks from RS, DT Swiss, Fox, X fusion on bikeradar. even got 1 rider very happy with his tora admittedly i'm using a crappy fork, but i would get an RS 2nd hand since the 2nd hand value is cheaper than fox.
