QUOTE(Cavino @ Sep 21 2011, 01:34 PM) Type that explanation before seeing your 40-50km/h speed....so not relevant anymore.. Btw....sometime new tyres also need some time to....what do you call it...forget...something like wear out the protective layer thingy...Grip might not be that great...unless a while later. btw if rear suddenly slip like that, without rain, sand, etc....better check the tyres or your Vios rear wheel, anything faulty kah...coz at 40-50km/h....the only explanation if faulty within the car or tyres...but most likely sandy road. Happens to my nct5 in my city last time even at slower speed. QUOTE(KKW @ Sep 21 2011, 01:36 PM) Oh. icic.. oil man transforming to rubber man!!Faulty tyre? btw, you become oil man and now want become tyre man ? Added on September 21, 2011, 1:37 pmThat tyre has been on the road for 1.5k KM already Added on September 21, 2011, 1:40 pmHe said the road like normal road.. no mud, no sand, no oil.. Now he go to toyota and check it out. |

QUOTE(xandras @ Sep 21 2011, 08:10 AM) haha.. I think if myvi roll down genting can be a true 10sec car lah.. QUOTE(ngeo88 @ Sep 21 2011, 08:48 AM) The nasi lemak fresh and sedap giler.. Slurrrppp.. QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Sep 21 2011, 08:57 AM) Who is she ah? Quite pretty, but amboi, itu english punya slang angmoh pun lari wor.. QUOTE(dorinyeah @ Sep 21 2011, 09:34 AM) QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Sep 21 2011, 09:39 AM) No more excuses for errant motorists captured on high definition cameras Another story on speed camera. Smile for the cop camera. OVER the past few months, I have been travelling quite a bit on our expressways, either up north to Penang for work or south to Seremban for personal matters. So, in some ways I was not surprised to receive a “love letter” bearing the stamp of the Royal Malaysian Police. What shocked me when I tore open the envelope was that, instead of the normal summons, there was an A4 size notice stating what offence I had committed, where and when I did it plus a clear black-and-white picture of my car. The first thing that came to my mind was: “Oh-oh it must be me and I must have been speeding.” It did not even cross my mind to protest “my innocence”. It was as if I had been caught with my pants down. The only disagreement was between my son and me, blaming each other of being the driver at the time of the offence. We were obviously on the way to Seremban when we were caught speeding at 114km per hour in a 90km per hour zone at KM8.5 of the Elite Highway. Curious as to where I was “caught on camera speeding”, I took a quick drive to look for the “offending spot”. For those who want to know, it is the overhead rest area near the Mofaz Go-Kart track. A few weeks ago, while on my way to KLIA, the taxi driver pointed out that a window at the overhead rest area was open. “See, that is where they shoot us,” said A. Manickam, my regular taxi driver to the airport. So, the next time you pass that area, keep a lookout for the open window. But the problem is that when you see it, you may have already been photographed speeding. Sauce QUOTE(jasonloh7906 @ Sep 21 2011, 11:56 AM) so it is worth as it does not affect the performance XD change LCP very easy mah.. Any tire shop also should know how to do.. U can try going to johor jaya side there.. Quite a lot of tuning shops available.. what u mean doing both? Change lcp and pnp? i wonder the car still can use or not. the porsche looks suits me more XD but the performance definitely take my life away. its wat we people aim XD mine is stock completely and it takes too long. nice. got money then do both. but in JB i got no idea about which shop to go. dunno about their workmanship. 40 second ok meh?? i tot my car rosak. 80 to 170 takes me around 56sec. QUOTE(KKW @ Sep 21 2011, 12:51 PM) He said he driving super slow around 40km/h-50km/h Maybe his driving technique not good gua.. Sometimes the road might have varying degree of roughness, if the stone grooves are deep then it will provide more grip than a freshly tarred and smooth road.. eg when u go over a freshly tarred surface its very quiet, cos the top layer hvnt wear off yet, so there is less gaps in between the stones in it and gives lesser grip instead.. He was turning into junction.. all of sudden the car "buang" Like lost control.. Vios handling are slightly better than myvi only.. I tested already.. That's why I choose to swap car with my bro. Yup I know. It's one years old car and new tyre.. How could it "buang"? He check the road dont have any oil on the road.. That one careless.. This one straight lost control one.. QUOTE(K.Lee @ Sep 21 2011, 02:13 PM) I would do that to my PE too.. hehe.. If only it had more power.. |

QUOTE(Cavino @ Sep 21 2011, 01:43 PM) Not much knowledge of tyres...only some experience on the slipping issue. When the tyres slip, due to sands, the steering wheel is the only way to control it...unless your brother panic or it slips to near the the divider Dun simply shi shi lo..That also means your brother might be driving too close or too fast (if can knock the divider, it is already too fast for a slow speed drive)...a bit careless when it happens and not regaining control. However cannot put fault coz depends on driving conditions, if it happens to me, I might be able to react fast enuf to counter the slip as I did b4....but then again I might just crash head long into it... btw. If a lorry drive by fast, its wind CAN push VIOS causing it to slip, same can happen to City...coz both car light weighted wan... Either that or ask your brother never to piss into the bush by the road side again... Ever considered the fact that his brother might be lying & cornered faster than he said he is? If it's a 90 degree junction, 40-50 kmh is actually quite fast. Dun believe me? Try it urself... But make sure the road is empty.. & any crashes, dun blame me.. |
