Do eliminate simple causes first ie chk all door contacts followed by bonnet AND likely suspect, nanely Boot contacts!!
Pls refer 2pic me posted some time back re location of & wat those contacts look like (not normal like door ones!).

Good luck! icon_idea.gif

That one already face before also. After switching off the engine if there's something "kacau" the wiring at the boot, the alarm wont automatically sound but it will just flash hazard five times.

But now is alarm suddenly sound when engine is still running and gear position is slotted into P.

But now no problem already kua. Today start car hundred times edi also no sudden alarm sound. lol

Saga this problem.. that problem... You think I do not know. If have a bigger budget, I will ops for a better car.. maybe a beemer. But I don't. Saga will have to do for now.

If you have all solution or question regarding saga issues, I'm sure most of the ppl in this forum are willing to listen or help. I own a honda city 2009(now kidnapped by my sister) and Saga FL. I do know in all most all level saga pale in comparison. But it's fit my budget and I bought.

So I love my Black Saga 1.3 AT Executive. Wash every week, light wax once every 2 week and drink only RON97.

+1

Beemer, Merc all also susceptible to problems. Like the BMW event I went on Monday, one of the 730Li has some problem with the adjustable suspension and that car is only 4 days old.

----
BTW, to all FLX owners, whats the highest speed you car could reach?

mine seems like it was "limited" to 140kph. Today at MEX so clear some more. Wasted.

kancil 140 masuk longkang already lo
it really depends on the road condition you're driving on
next time retry again
if windy, sure will not be so high

The stretch I am trying to hit the top speed is a really straight highway.

KL folks will know that MEX is like a KL's Autobahn. And the best part is, it has plenty of downslopes which definitely means hitting top speed isn't a problem biggrin.gif

u need to full accelerate down your pedal to the floor... when i drove up to 170km/h (at 5,500 rpm if i not mistaken), it was a straight flat road...
next time you try to flat down the pedal to the floor when u come to downslope and check the top speed u able to archieve... btw, i'm using D mode  icon_idea.gif
*
D mode also mah. SAT useless one on straights.

oh, so need to floor it aah. lol
I press till half see the rpm raise from 3,000 to 4,200 but speed dint even tickle beyond 141kph, so I ease of my throttle. Furthermore corner approaching.

that is the characteristic of CVT, you need to give more acceleration for speed, while without pressing acceleration, the car slow down faster compare to AT transmission because the CVT apply the engine break itself... you need to continuous accelerate above 5,500 rpm to get to top speed... since u said MEX got longer distance of straight road, then u can try accelerate to 6,000 rpm and let us know the top speed u gain...  brows.gif

not ask u to u-turn straight away, but going to the next exit and turn back...  doh.gif  tongue.gif
*
the nearest place I can turn back is i think that big roundabout heading to LCCT. Others is just a chain of highways connecting MEX, PLUS and Putrajaya Link.

Have to pass all three tolls. lol

then u test the top speed some other day when u pass there, not necessary going now, waste of time/money/petrol...  tongue.gif
btw, have u did any DIY to your car? (auto brake lock, sound proofing, door rubber, skirting, spoiler?)
*
readjust the front number plate

thats all. laugh.gif

all those wait later first. After the 3rd year then I might do something major. Finding diffusers for the FL/FLX is like finding a needle in the Atlantic Ocean.

my car doesn't come with rear wheel arch... look like another cut out material by proton to save cost  doh.gif
this FLX lack of few feature/accessories such as : rear wheel arch, aircond valve switch (used to blow leg, windscreen), big container box (supposedly installed in between both front cushion, beside the handbrake), auto power windows (open the window fully automatically)...  sad.gif
*
big container? The handbrakes is already quite in the middle... hmm.gif

oh, and that auto power windows. Thats the thing I've overlooked when buying the car. The only disappointment I had with the car is the lack of auto power window. vmad.gif But my friend and I did notice the driver's side windows wind up quicker than other windows. lol

just went test drive persona
pass bump. no jumpy feel
turn corner. very stable
maybe multilink suspension more stable than torsion beam? biggrin.gif
*
all suspension has better flexibility, hence lesser body roll which affects the handling.

IMO, wont help much. no matter how much enhancements you thrown in to a normal strut + torsion beam system, it will never be superior than a normal strut + multilink system.

hi, just wanna ask issit ok to drive my new FLX for long journey?? Mine is just a week old with mileage around 150+km. Is it bad for the engine? Also, the manual stated that for the first 1000km do not exceed the speed limit of 90km/h. What are the opinions from all the sifus here?
*
My FLX already 13 days old and the total mileage as of now is 802km.

Fastest I've go? 140km/h. Highest RPM I've rev? 4,200 rpm.

Nothing major happen yet. Nothing is disintegrating yet. No weird noises or whatsoever funny stuff. smile.gif
