Leasson learned, 1 = never ever park horizontal at roadside esp beside is some those abandon building project (dark and not many ppl pass by)
2 = do not ever put any valuable item in yr car even though u plan to walk out from yr car for  just 1 minute!!!!!!
3 = DO NOT park along JALAN BUNGA TANJUNG 9 at cheras >< I went to police station yesterday and they told me another case where by one motorcyclist snatch a women bag. It happened at the same road just 1 day after my incident happened.

Despite all the redlining, I can still get around 350km a tank

I like the honda city because it really save petrol...any flx user here,mind to share some experience...bcs booked a Saga FLX Executive Auto dy...hope wont regret...but this is the only car meet my budget..and take silver color...the safety color ever...haha...

I was involved in an accident. Nothing major.

I was coming out of a junction, inside a yellow box, slowly inching my way out to cross to the other side of the road. Other motorists have stopped for me as there is a yellow box. As I was about to cross over, a fast moving motorcyclist whacked me at the driver's side.

A little bit of scratches and tyre marks and the lower part of my car is slightly bent.

I asked him to compensate me since he was riding so fast and crashed into my car but the ******* (which is a Chinese btw) told me to go fly kite and sped off. Luckily I took down his number plate.

Should I report to police even if damage is minimal? I know I won't get compensated but he will be fined by the cops. Does that justify all the hassle? First time involved in accident so forgive me if I'm naive or being silly.

What?! Most of the time, other motorcyclist will slow down and let the car in the yellow box go.

How can he have the right of way when there's a freekin yellow box allowing other motorists to slowly move over to the opposite lane.

btw, is there other suspension/spring brand that is much better than the stock? i'm looking for super comfort type, like can absorb uneven road and potholes better.

ya ur right. dun hav frens wif blm on other suspension to test drive. but if i can afford to change cars, i rather upgrade than to stick to same model/make. so have to make peace with what i have right now and improve on it.

anyone done full soundproof/deadening on saga? what's the diff? honest opinions thx

just went to testdrive saga flx, not impress lor... power is ok, steering feels heavy, the gearbox is very jerky, not smooth.. quite stable at high speed compare to myvi, shud i get 1?? or go for the fl 1.6??

DAMN IT!!!

Jz nw my FLX's gearbox was stucked when I was driving on highway!!!   
Luckily I was entering toll that time,
if not I can't imagine what shud I do if my gearbox did not engaged and I can't move my car at all
How come the gearbox so easy overheat one??
I met this problem when it was around 11am like tat,
and I driving for around 130-140km/h like tat constantly for around 10 mins only,
then suddenly the gearbox overheat light came out,
and I can't move my car anymore due to the gearbox protection mode was on
I was stucked in front of toll for around 3 mins until I mati engine my car,
and start engine again, only the gearbox boleh be engaged again, WTF 

I was waiting at traffic light..this car...nv see..just simply reverse..then banged my passenger side door la...haiz...still feeling sad...

My ride is 1 week old onli LOL,
although it ady clocked 20xxkm mileage dy

Yea i wil wash it using water if there's only some small stains,
using micro fibre cloth that given FOC by the waxing guy,
if too dirty dy then i wil use soft washing shampoo to wash it,
no more send to indian car wash shop anymore as they using clothes washing powder to wash our car,
which nt onli wash away d wax, even d lacquer oso kena washed away sekalligus

I did it at Johor Bahru Bandar Seri Alam,
the price is RM90 with two layer wax,
1st layer use 3M silicon based liquid wax,

2nd layer use 3M spray quick wax,


The boss is kind enuf to help me vacuum my car,
and applied special tyre shine which he claimed can tahan more longer den normal white color tyre shine,
so as Japan rain-X which he bought frm S'pore, can tahan at least half year above oso.

Cz i heard someone said that it wil cause wind noise,

after few days off the internet, so many post already...
anyhow, i found some info regarding the CVT jerking problem...
i heard that, if we disconnected the battery terminal, we need to reset the CVT timing from SC... it's mean every time we change new battery for our FLX's CVT car, we need to send our car to SC for CVT reset.
(those info from Honda forums)

btw, i still remember that our car before the delivery to us, they removed the positive terminal from battery when keep the car in store... i was wondering if that is the source of our jerking problem. 

anyone who driving FLX's CVT here been to SC for re-programme their CVT timing due to jerking issue? and how's the result? 

no news on when 1.6flx release? i wanna ask, if blm at highway cruising like 120km/h, is the car noisy? I saw the top speed 150 according to proton website, seems abit low >< savvy at top 170..

1.3FLX some already push to 175
do some mod...easily can reach 200 but not recommended cuz CVT's job is to save fuel, not race
1.6FLX should be faster

NVH can be very personal of view..
For me Saga is a noisy car, wif alot of road noise coming into cabin..

Decide to go for SagaFLX cvt after following since mid-end of v13
2-oct I paid booking fee (only manage RM300 discount, full tank, tint voucher rhino?)
3-oct Bank officer (1) called, i decide not to take, called SA i wanna change another bank
5-oct Bank officer (2) called, verify info with me.
6-oct SA sms me saying all the payment/downpayment details and urge me to pay him DP as he has got car for me. (I tink whoa...fast...)
7-oct Met bank representative to sign tonnes of agreement
11-oct Paid SA downpayment with banker cheque, tot of getting car this week. After taken my cheque, then come the excuse, saying that the Proton Logistic hub is short of lorry to deliver the my car...wth...wat an excuse...
all my weekend plan to have a silky ride with my flx smashed...

what can i do?
where is the Proton Logistic hub? can i take the car myself?

I wont recommend this SA branch to any of my frens...arggh...
feel like kinda cheated...
