Actually, he did the right thing. Stop short of saying we'll do the big QE3 now. Market pulling back
from the highs.. but still in green. Ascending channel forming. Buy signal is still flashing in this channel but
remember to manage your risk properly by defining a stop below that rising support channel.

How's your LVS btw? it's back to above 45 now. Regret didn't catch some when it's 42. laugh.gif

Nope..no regret. I've got MPEL. Same thing. wink.gif
Ask Z for LVS - he's probably still riding it.

Just ride the green wave ..with trailing stop. If get stop out, that's ok. Take your money off the table.
Remember, it's the third day of up.. also usually traders will take money off for weekend.

Why? Market hasn't test the really low yet. The summer months still long...
I was hoping to see $SPX = 1245-1255 then, a big whoosh to 1200, followed by 1150.
Those PUTs will explode upside if this happens. drool.gif

Well Said rclxms.gif

To me Helicopter Ben is kinda like our modern Sun Tzu.

And Sun Tzu had to do all his best even with the dysfunctions of most leaders around him.

SOLD LVS on tight TS, 2 days back. Still a healthy profit. Cover some losses on MU.

It will be real interesting to see what happens after this weekend.

Right now, we got a short term floor at SP500 1165-1175 and Dow 12035-12100.

Spain will ask for help.. if ECB says no, then more implosion on Monday for equity prices.

Also, another thing to watch is China! Yes.. China gives the shot in the arm yesterday ahead of Uncle Ben announcement.
The bulls got the adrenaline shot to power ahead at premarket open but quickly fizzle away just even before Uncle Ben appearance.
The speculation here is that China must have got a pretty bad data to be announced during the weekend, therefore they've moved ahead of the market. Both US companies like YUM and MCD have reported a major slowdown in China.. so the slowdown now has affected corporate profits.

If everything is negative, I think we could see a break below that floor. smile.gif

When I read that MCD blame on China's slowdown, I feel like...what? Because I thought MCD is junk food, cheap food, poor people eat one. Now I think, maybe it's a different story for country like China or India or Indonesia? In the US, is it the same? People actually don't eat burger anymore when no money? They eat what then? A big mac is $3 in US? hmm.gif

Apple hit emergency brake last night.

Casino operators like MPEL, LVS & MGM running down the bump for now.

Re-enter MPEL or LVS when the tide is running.

Looks like I didn't miss much last week..'coz I was out of town for training.

SPX still rolls around 1305 (low) to 1345 (high).
Going to be interesting to see what the Greeks will do..and how the market will react on Monday.

Hey DW,

I like MCD.. but not for its dividend but potentially that's a 15% upside.

For div.. CTL (as compared to VZ and T) has nice one too.

I go for super global blue chips that increase their dividends every year, even during recession years. MCD is one of them.
Secondly, I can always see the business with my own eyes.
It always brings a smile/grin to my face whenever I walk pass a fully-packed McDonald's store or when my colleagues order Mac breakfast to the office. rclxm9.gif icon_rolleyes.gif rclxms.gif thumbup.gif
