All commodities sell down including Oil. Puts are in good positions tonight.

The expectation was 8%. So disappointment means sell. Dunno about HKSE, I'm looking at the China 25 ETF (FXI), which is the proxy for it. Good time for support at 35. Almost there.

No trade for AAPL tonight.. GLD PUTs worked out so nicely.. already locked in at 4 bagger tonight.

a) Yes, NO tax on cap gain for non-us residents who is NOT physically presence in US more than 183 days in a year.

b) Yes, they will withhold divi earned (up to 30%) but you can claim back by filing 1080NR the following year, lowest effective rate is still 15%. No tax treaty between US and Malaysia exist, so tax rate reduction divi for Malaysians does not exist.

Tomorrow, let's watch SNDK (and perhaps play a little too ). This tech company made a lot of those flash drive and memory that we use and also used by many phone and tablet makers as well. Chart is pretty good (long side) and I think both longs and shorts got good opportunity here to profit during earnings call.

True... when the rating agency or analyst revised their earnings projection, that almost equal to a downgrade. So, the market will move it down by the sellers. If the company beats the revised earnings, they will rally back to the original price or more if the beat is like a crush.

It is also about the market expectation. If they beat on bottom and top, usually market will rally...
OR sometimes, if the price already rise to the point where it was already expecting good earnings.. and even if the company beats,
they will SELL into the news. It's almost like a rigged game.

Not just KO, most consumer staples type of stocks been trending higher for the past two months. They're rotating from risky commodities into safety type with dividends ones. Commodities got whacked.. next I think will basic materials if the building constructions continue to show slower growth in their upcoming monthly report.
