I do think Samsung now is facing pretty similar issue Apple used to face a year+ ago: losing steam. S4, nobody talks about it. Huge difference from S3 and Note 2, even S2.
To breakout is easy, to maintain is much more difficult. |

QUOTE(countdown @ Jul 2 2013, 06:27 PM) normally when dropped like crazy, it'll either bounce back as dead cat bounce, short-covering or dip buyers or everything, i just follow...no fundamental if touch 1000, i might be getting exciting. if touch 800, i might be tempting to start buying. |

QUOTE(countdown @ Jul 3 2013, 12:58 AM) very expensive. what to do. too tired to dig an international platform that easy to apply and get it work. Last time applied for one, then it asked for documents from banks bla bla bla, headache. i just want one that i can apply completely via online, then wire/transfer money into the broker account, then i can start the game. Is there any? please recommend. This post has been edited by yok70: Jul 3 2013, 02:14 AM |

QUOTE(countdown @ Jul 3 2013, 02:27 AM) most of the US broker fulfill ur requirement plus u just need to send a hardcopy form of W-8BEN. i'm using ameritrade ThinkorSwim. Is it? I registered at optionsXpress before, and it seems not that simple. So I didn't complete the registration. So your ameritrade ThinkorSwim can trade everything in US market? How's the average fees? Say if RM5000 per transaction on stock or options, roughly how many % charged as fees? Less than 1%? Thanks! This post has been edited by yok70: Jul 3 2013, 03:55 AM |

QUOTE(countdown @ Jul 3 2013, 09:38 AM) US brokers' charges is per trade basis. Yes u can trade ETF, stocks, options, futures and forex, mostly everything in US. thanks! i'll take a look. Option charges: 01) $1 to $1.5 per contract depending on your size, volumn and pattern of trading, if ur volumn is big, they can give you $1 or lower per contract. How big is considered big? u hv to chat with them. This option is also suitable for small volumn. 02) Also, you can opt for their other selection which I had forgotten, something like $0.70 per contract + $9.95 per trade. This option is meant for bigger contract. As u can see both option 1 & 2 is suitable for bigger contracts, I opted for 1st option due to its flexibility between larger and lower volumn. I couldn't recall the stocks charges bsc I seldom trade mother share but their option. I think the package is as follow: $0.015 per share, min $5 per trade and there is other package which I had forgotten, u'll need to check with them. More info on charges: https://www.thinkorswim.com/tos/myAccounts/displayRates.tos What I like abt TOS is their platform and their efficient chat support. Though their platform is a bit of flaws but so far ok lar...... |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Jul 3 2013, 09:31 PM) Easy... no one wants to hold risk during the break before Friday. rebound. market is so unpredictable. When Friday comes, the UE numbers could swing the market either way. I'm staying neutral, holding cash is better. I jump right back in once the direction is established. We still got upside move and lots of downside risk and lots of money at the sidelines at the 2nd half to pour in. Today halfday trading only.. so, I'm closing shop early too. Nothing attractive here.. but interesting to each is AAPL. We got support now a 400-420 level. If this dips back to low 400, just BUY it. AAPL recent hired of YSL ex-CEO (Paul Deneve) is interesting. It goes to show that AAPL is going to focus the next big thing on wearables. |
