You want to short the market again 

I just shorted.. bought some puts when SPX touched 1338 area. 

The short term bull traders will want take some money out for the weekend..
so trading this zig zag pattern for now.

No new money really coming into the market. Funds aren't really buying yet.
Just that money being rotated from one sector into another.

Short while u can

People could look year long but still talking.

Talking is cheap and free.

I'm betting more south side move this week than north side.

What's your bet?

Yes.. I know. But, the US banks aren't hemorrhaging cash anymore but their earnings aren't used to be.
It may take some years for them to go back to the previous valuation.

BAC, C, etc.. Even JPM, one of the strongest got smacked down pretty bad.

Not sure about the "we" part. I think you may speaking for yourself.
Not that I don't believe in long term investing but "long" is relative nowadays.

I'm of a believer that the days of the BUY and HOLD have change and may not be applicable anymore.

You really have to be very good stock picker or able to create a strong portfolio to withstand
the dynamics of the market. I've seen good companies been taken the cleaners just because of market conditions and investors basically end up FLAT even after 10 years.

Oh well, to each its own.

You could be right.. 'coz futures are pointing north but we ended up the week down anyway.

But, I'll be keeping an eye on on that SP 1050-1055 line, going to look for opportunity to re-short later.

I bet tonight Dow would be up

That's the big move we need.

I'm closing out some of the shorts and wait now. Yesterday puke was much greater, Dow lost close to 200pts.

It may take one or day before the buy signal comes in. I went in a bit early on 1225 but the floor caved in.
Had to quickly close out my position with small loss and dive back in at 1210.

Put another stop at 1205.  If this can't hold tomorrow, it is going to be really ugly.

Actually, not bad for LVS.. still holding the bottom of the range: 43/44~49/50 here.
43/44 is a buy area at tier 1.  If 43/44 support fails, then 39/40 as next support.
43/44 is prior to their Q3 earning results so good area to get some and hold.

But, look at AAPL. Good support here 363-370.
I'm going to get some long calls here.

For AAPL, it should be ok. Everyone was waiting for that pivot at 200MA (363-365).
Today, should be good sign for the bulls to jump back in. Volume is decent.
Just make sure stop at 365 or slightly less for now or move up 5 pts trailing the current price.
