Thanks!
but then does this integrated Graphic Card == Intel HD3000?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm planning to buy v131 with i5. but unable to decide to go for old version i5 2410M (which everyone pretty sure it come with HD3000) or the yet to release newer version i5 2430M (no details spec)
*
HD2000 is usually for the lower end Core processors. In general, i3, i5 and i7 would be using the HD3000, unless there's a change.

Asus needs new people to handle their product guide. Always so many copy-pasta typos. laugh.gif

QUOTE(jacksonywl @ Sep 17 2011, 12:57 AM)
Looking for ASUS 14", price lower than 1.4k, no gaming at all, mostly documents or watching video. suggestion?

Also looking for ASUS 14" or larger, price preferably lower than 2k or at most 2.4k, play DOTA, movies, musics, maybe photo processing (Photoshop, Lighthouse, etc) and 3D software (CATIA. Autocad). Preferably with numpad too!

Any suggestion is very much appreciated!
*
First recommendation, K43U?

For the second one, numpads don't feature on 14" laptops. You would need 15" for that.

If you don't mind, I think the A43TA would be a good choice.

QUOTE(lwtw @ Sep 17 2011, 09:13 AM)
Need some advise. Looking for a serious gaming at 14' (excluding the pricey mx14).
ON the market there seem to be:
HP DV4 3016 with HD6750
Lenovo Y470 with GT550
Asus N45SF with GT555 ?functioning with throttlestop?

Any advice on which one to pick?
TQ
*
N45SF is partially fixed, I wouldn't fully recommend it for serious gaming at the moment. The Lenovo is the better choice now though the DV4 isn't that weak either.

How is A43TA compared with N43 series or N45 series?
*
Gaming and application wise is as competent at a cheaper price but in terms of design, might be a bit more boring and the speakers are below average.

New Sony Y series replaces the old one, now offers black (or was it dark gray) as well.

Comes with E-450 and HD6320, 2GB RAM and 320GB HDD, W7S for RM1499.

A43TA is local designation. K43TA is for other countries.

By the way, K53TA reviewed.

smile.gif went to asus website looking for it,there is no such thing. only K43TA. i think asus rename it. so better change liao.

Local designation, might be an error on the site. Product guide and actual unit lists it as A43TA. Both K and A have different outer appearance.

Asus pricelist updated~
Nothing new laugh.gif

I wonder who's going to get this model laugh.gif
Asus K43By-VX048v, AMD E-450 + AMD HD6470@RM1699, W7HP, at that price range, there are better Intel-powered alternatives, with dedicated GPU summore haha~

Still, the i3 powered U36 seems quite interesting, its no doubt one of the cheapest subnotebooks with superb battery life thumbup.gif
Asus U36Sd-RX359v, i5-2330M + Nvidia GT520M@RM2299[1.78kg]; USB3.0 external OD, Asus optical mouse
*
K43BY would be more of a testament that for gaming, GPU > CPU.

The i3 U36SD would be something to note. Affordable, still powerful and just a beauty to behold. This model should offer better battery life compared to the i5 version as well.
