TJ, maybe can consider to include Apple in the list? tongue.gif
Kind of weird one of the "sexy" is not there laugh.gif
Of course, need sifus to provide the updates hmm.gif
*
Hmm, I think we can do that, good suggestion man laugh.gif
I just hope it doesn't provoke fanwars again since Macs are supposed to be discussed in Apple Byte laugh.gif
Updates should be fine since can get directly from their online website like Dell notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

You mean there was a fan wars right here in LYN? laugh.gif Point me to the thread(s) (if you can rclxms.gif ), must be interesting sweat.gif
Well, one of the MacBook owners was trying to convince me in LYN that MacBook is the best Window laptop smile.gif So I guess should be fine for you to include them in laptop price list tongue.gif
Not so sure about Apple website though. Last year when one of my young cousins bought a MBA, we looked through the website, and I vaguely remember that we have a hard time figuring out which Intel CPU is in MBA hmm.gif sweat.gif But I was busy then, and just told her to get on and buy it laugh.gif

Mac has pretty simple price with very little or zero chance to negotiate for lower price.

If anyone ask for price, point them to apple.com.my for absolute answer tongue.gif

I think it's less about price negotiation. It's more like:
"You want the sexy, nah, there you go" laugh.gif

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is i7 processor for the model below?

Asus S46CM
Satellite U940

I noticed there is 1 shop putting the price for i7 for Asus S46CM.

for Satellite U940, it shows only i5 processor variance, but putting there 'Upcoming' does it means this model is not available yet?

I don't think we have the i7 variant of the S46 here in Malaysia...
As for the U940, the i5 variant should already be available, forget to remove the "upcoming" tongue.gif

Now only 1 thing making me think twice. or maybe 2.
Asus is cheaper just slight smaller mSATA and HDD but higher graphic
Toshiba slight exp with slight bigger mSATA and HDD but lower graphic

Kinda in delima.

Other factors is like i love the light Asus with OD but it does not have backlit keyboard.
but then i love toshiba for its backlit keyboard but no OD.
They both are within my budget. but dun really know how to decide.. icon_question.gif

er.. i'm kinda picky 1.. tongue.gif i dun like Dell, i have bad history with Acer (thought it last was very long after they agreed to replace it for me), Fujistu is out of budget, Sony is not even in my watch list.

HP sometimes feel it overpriced.. tongue.gif hehe.. i admit, i'm very picky. sweat.gif
