Lenovo has a track record with the weakest GT555M so not gonna be too surprised with the 96SP, 128-bit GDDR5 version.
*
You have a point there bro...
Dayum! It'll be a pity if its really the weakest GT555m variant... but still its better than the previous Y470 la haha laugh.gif

Sony laptops are quite weird in a sense that the pricings between online and official brochures can sometimes be different haha~
Still, I'll update the pricelist now notworthy.gif

Thanks for the input bro notworthy.gif

Will just have to wait for confirmation on the specs...

Notebookcheck's review on the Asus ZenBook Ux31 is out: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Asus-Zenbook-...ew.65718.0.html

Seems rather impressive this one, with a lot of improvements compared to the S3 nod.gif

Attached Image

Another Notebookcheck's review on the Asus N55sf (spec differ from ours; why do they always get the goodies? =.=) http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Asus-N...ok.65915.0.html

Attached Image

Last but not least, Endgadget's review on the Lenovo Ideapad U300s: http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/13/lenovo-...d-u300s-review/
Not exactly as good as the Air and ZenBooks

Last week I also saw a Lenovo brochure in karamunsing KK which states the Y470 has a GT555. Called up Lenovo center but the guy said no GT555 for the Y470 and it was a typo.
Would be nice if it was true coz the only contender is the Asus N45SF. But the N45 has a cheap looking fingerprinting exterior and only comes with I5 for a more expensive price! And the Y470 has a real nice cooling system for all that gaming and no bios problems.

Anyone actually SAW a real life Y470/GT555?
*
Good question, waiting for inputs as well laugh.gif

Hi... can anybody help me...
Is this laptop available in Malaysia...
Asus n53sv-eh72
Whats the price...
*
We only have this in Malaysia: Asus N53Sn-SX269v, i7-2670QM + Nvidia GT550M@RM3299[Bang & Olufsen], USB3.0
...and its not with FullHD laugh.gif

You can try to import from Singapore though if you really want one nod.gif

Otherwise, can consider this: MSI GE620DX-FHD, i7-2670M + Nvidia GT555M + (1920x1080)@RM3299

Good Morning sifus, I'm wondering is the Ultrabook any good for it's massive price (even those without SSDs can cost a lot)

Thanks smile.gif
*
Ultrabooks are good if you're looking for something extremely light nod.gif
Otherwise, its better to go for normal notebooks and throw in a SSD instead laugh.gif

Normal spinners had a 100% price hike, are SSDs affected too?

Thailand manufactures a lot of HDD... not sure about SSDs...
But SSD prices have always been expensive, price hikes will be more or less negligible to those who can afford them in the 1st place haha
