It is inferior provided the one in the Sager is the full-fletched version.
Any sifu can help? lee_what2004 sifu? hehe  laugh.gif

but you are right though, 4k for the spec is very tempting. g53 is quite bulky right? i wonder it will fit my existing laptop bag.

Good.
Yeap, default comes with Beats Solo.
4 speaker if not mistaken.
Yes, inferior.
If later want to play more than DOTA, can try look for
Acer Aspire 4755G-2432G50, i5-2430M + Nvidia GT540M@RM1899[2.3kg], 2GB, 500GB; 3 years local warranty
Else
Asus A43Sj, i3-2330M + Nvidia GT520M@RM1999[2.44kg], Colors:Red/Blue/Pink/Green/Gold/Black
Asus A43TA-VX047v, AMD A6-3400M + AMD HD6720 G2@RM1899
Dell Inspiron 14 (N4050), i5-2430M + AMD HD6470M@RM1999 *PC Fair deal
*
so if say got a budget of 5k for 15" laptop, best value for money would be sager np8150?

Mainly depends on what you are looking at, better GPU or CPU.
The Sager can get CPU upgrade to i7 2670QM for RM2xx, and its easier for cleaning maintenance.

While the Asus has dual HDD storage and 2 years warranty. But need to pre-order.
*
yah i think its better to go for sager np8130 and do the upgrade to i7. then you have a mean machine. btw sifu is the wireless card bigfoot a worthy upgrade @ rm180++? or just upgrade to the intel wireless card will do?

You might want to PM Prince J and ask about warranty claiming 1st yo...
Warranty is one of Sager's biggest problems over here in Malaysia  sad.gif

We can't have the best of everything bro laugh.gif
Smaller laptops can never perform as good as larger laptops, especially in terms of gaming performance and cooling...
The Asus N45Sf, Alienware M14x and Lenovo Y470 are three of the more powerful 14" laptops at the moment
*
so the optimum size now is still 15" huh.

+1, and its not just model quality...
Certain models have known issues one e.g. Satellite M500 and N45sf (GPU issues)... doing a little bit of research on your potential laptop will help avoid these type of problems  nod.gif

My vote goes to the Portege R830 as it comes with 3 years international warranty, and its very, very light without sacrificing performance thumbup.gif

If you're assignments only involves normal office work, the MacBookAir/ Ultrabooks would be a nice choices as well

Brother how much doew protege r830 retails for?

went to midvalley just now to look at some laptops, really like the lenovo y470, thinner compared to n45sf.

but asus sales very good, n45 , u46sv, n55 i5 all out of stock.

the zenbook really very sexy. but the trackpad really put me off, otherwise it would be a mean machine.

lenovo u300 is very slim and sexy too.
