Hmmm normal speakers are ok as well then, I guess usage of Headphones would be a better option.

Thx for the suggestion though. How about the inspiron 14z?
*
Yea, the Inspiron z series are quite nice as well, quite worth it I guess nod.gif
But they don't have VGA ports iinm.... better check 1st before purchase, especially if you need to make presentations often..

You could always opt for external speakers as well, they're much better than those in most laptops nod.gif

Well, if you have a strict budget of max RM2k, and you would want a laptop mainly for gaming (and don't want Acer), then the Asus A43Ta would be the better pick nod.gif
Otherwise, I would recommend topping up abit and get the:
Asus A43Sv-VX264v, i5-2430M + Nvidia GT540M(1GB)@RM2349[2.44kg]
or
Dell Inspiron 14R (N4110), i5-2430M + AMD HD6630M@RM2149, 4GB, 640GB, *Big Giant Plaid!Lid; 2 years warranty *PC Fair deal

instead smile.gif

Hello... Need a laptop for college uses and some gaming...

1. Preferred Brand: Anything will do.
2. Budget: Below 2k.
3. Usage: MS office, surfing, downloading, watching movies, gaming (call of duty, left 4 dead, etc)
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 13" - 14"

Budget has to cut to below 1.5k... Gaming is not really an important factor right now, maybe just some light gaming like tetris, poker, and some other fb games...
