QUOTE(xaVier @ Nov 24 2011, 09:36 AM) Any known issues with Samsung Laptop so far? One more issues with the Samsung Series 3, they dun have VGA out.. only mini VGA and HDMI.. is there a converter for VGA out? cos I'll be using this laptop for presentations, most LCD projectors nowadays still uses VGA.. Not much user on that Samsung model..Thanks.. If you need VGA, can consider the Dell Vostro V131.. QUOTE(mmmbop @ Nov 24 2011, 09:43 AM) Thanks. So basically nobody here will recommend Acer brand? Well, the Acer don't have backlit keyboard..I'll try to check on your recommendation but based on Dell's website the Vostro 3450, i5-2430M at RM2299 no longer comes with Belkin Radius 15.6" Backpack. It's a separate purchase |

The throttling problem seems to be on the 4830TG model(but only when you start stressing both CPU and GPU), the other model, doesn't seems to have complaint on that aspect.
At your budget, I won't really recommend the Acer unless budget is your concern, the Lenovo Y470 on garage sales seems more attractive and it also has easy access for cleaning maintenance.. |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Nov 25 2011, 12:03 AM) here QUOTE(Exandru @ Nov 24 2011, 10:38 PM) I went to IT Hypermart just now. Saw the N55SF with i7 with the HD+ screen +Blu-ray Drive tu... The display was so mesmerizing! So crisp! very sharp @_@ ....Then...I closed the lid. Oh my god! Super glossy black, so glossy that if it's placed on a murder scene, police might've called 30 suspects via the finger prints! gila wei..i put put my finger on it many2 places, it became a laptop during the world war 2 hahahaha... Built is so solid, I like it. The keyboard looks high quality BUT the key placement will need quite a lot of getting used to. ESC and the button on the top right DELETE I think? Isn't where it is supposed to be in my life-dictionary @_@ Bottomline, I'm in love with N55. |
