Any casing available for the 7.7?

Sorry, I am not IT savvy and new to the gadget stuff.

Am I right to assume that a wifi tablet will not have GPS function? One will need an internet connection i.e. 3G to enable to use the tablet as an GPS device.

GPS is available even on wifi tablets. Depends on what app you're using. If it has offline navigation no need to have 3g enable.

anyone know when ETA of celcom plan for 7.7??

maybe 1st week of feb...but for sure before mid feb

Will original sme units without operator's plan also hit the market the same time?

Any idea if sme will bring in wifi 7.7 as well?

looking at their behavior during Gnote launch...it will be late for 1 week.

waiting SME set but hope SME will come back with 2 yrs warranty again.

There was a short article in The STAR today ( Technology section Page 13 ) about launching in Feb. I do not know how much research the writer has done or he is just quoting from unofficial sources , saying it will have infrared remote and a choice of 16 GB and 32 GB

does tab 7.7 can use iphone earphone with mic??

THe Galaxy Note earphone is exactly same as the Galaxy Tab 7.7 : exact model number , looks exactly the same

Some photos comparison with Galaxy Note ( 8 mp camera ) against Galaxy tab 7.7 ( 3 mp ) all on default settings
Left : G Note, RIGHT : G Tab 7.7







I would say the 7.7 Tab 3.0MP camera shots do not lose out to the 8.5 MP camera on the Galaxy Note

My apps - some of the default apps I have frozen, so cannot see it . I have not tested all the apps - so far K tool cannot work. I restore all apps from my G Note Titanium Backup
