Aww... My gadgets easily last over 2 years~ That means I'm still on Classic Block Styled Mobile Phone and also old laptop. 2 years back (2 years 10 months++ in exact) I remember the first touch screen from Nokia, 5800 and few others, not working too well touch screen. Now advances so fast that I couldn't catch up.

My phone and my laptop just won't break

No reason for new phone/tablet but this caught my eye while having an eye on Tab 10.1. This has better spec compared to 10.1!!!! SuperAMOLED+ Screen, super high DPI(of course not comparing to phone and retina display), Same proc as in S2/tab but higher clocked to 1.4GHz and not with tegra but known to be better Exynos. However, I'd hope Thumbdrive will work on this. It'll be really nice if I can use a thumbdrive on this (A feature, that sounds to be common, and Is common in those China-made tablet, Uncommon in high end tablet though ) See how it goes~ Not getting it that soon after seeing how samsung product price drop that fast. I want something that last, not something to show off so... Maybe will get it around Chinese New Year time. Few more months to see if better product comes into the market~!!!

But I do agree this is quite a monster when compared to larger 10.1 tablet. The screen size should do just fine for me. 10.1 is a bit too big to be portable. 7.7~8.9 should do the job well but... Another good thing about the 7.7 is the metal cover instead of plastic on 8.9/10.1

according to the seller, stock arrival has been delayed to middle or end of next month.. i have pulled back my pre-order.. lazy lah to wait.. wanna get busy to something else la.. until i stumble upon it at any retail shop unintentionally.

Thats the prob wif preorders the dates always change, better use the money for other pressing matters first though im really dying to get my hands on this tab.. Hopefully it will come out very soon

Heard ppl at Sammy already demo Tab 7.7 and plus except Note...alll say that next month but cant really tell d date yet

I saw the Samsung latest News Vol 7 - the 8.9 model was shown at RM 1899 but none on the 7.7 and 7.0+ model

this one cant make phone call like the original tab?

man the smaller screen one having same price as the larger screen? (in fact tab 10.1 become even cheaper now) where is the logic of production cost here?

there was never production cost logic in gadgets, judging by the way how apple put their price ,haha .

Ok, since 10.1 wifi still unavailable for SME set, i guess i can change my target to this 1. Hope they wont be doing the same like how they did with 10.1 , only release the 3g

u talkin bout production cost? Tab 7.7 had better specs compare to 10.1..and 7.7 also got higher demand due to its compact size

this tab + bluetooth headset....nice
