i think something wrong with the battery...100 to 0 in one hour and 0 - 90 after 10 minutes of recharging...unplug the power and its goes again..haizzz might sent to samsung then..

No there is something wrong with the ROM, a battery bug I think, it happened to me too, sometimes it doesn't show the real value of the battery left, or show 100% when it is actually not fully charged.

try restarting your Tab, if its still showing low battery, then try charging it more. Sometimes after charging it for a few hours, it still stay at 30%, but after restart it'll go 80,90 or even 100%, because it has already been fully charged but the battery value did not update itself.

you can also try wiping the battery stats from the recovery, it does help the tab recalibrating the battery.

I recommend this V6 SuperCharger to everyone who craves for speed, this is a must have tweak.
It improves your Tab's speed significantly without any extra OC or battery consumption, and all you need to do is just follow the fairly straight forward steps, but first you have to have root access. smile.gif

Hmmm I think audio quality from stock ROM is good enough for me... haha
Not sure if its me only or what, followed the steps but couldn't find ''init.d'' and ''99SuperCharger'' (tried many times). I've rooted my tab with following steps, need advice if any steps I've missed?

RETAIL 3G
[GTP7500] >>> New!!!
1. Download this Root.zip file to your tablet and move it to root directory of tablet storage. (you can also download on comp. then transfer to tablet)
2. Reboot tab and go into recovery mode and apply the root.zip you just downloaded.
3. Then reboot
*
yes, that ts missed one important step, before you run the script, make sure to tick "run as root"

Erm mind i clarify if run as root is for rooting or while supercharging?
*
when you have selected the script using the script manager, and before you run it, tick 'run as root', after that follow the steps as listed, should be fine. Otherwise you can ask here again smile.gif

just want to share, after using Starbust ROM + pershoot kernel @1.2Ghz + V6 SuperCharger for 1 week, I'll say that the combo makes the Tab completely and utterly smooth, it is lag free, not even minor stutters.
Recommend everyone with a Wifi Tab try out this combo. happy.gif

what bout combo Blazar+Bonsai v.0.25?? many tw guy said this is the smoothest..i really dunno which to flash....
*
Starbust ROM is only for wifi, but pershoot kernel and V6 is compatible with both wifi and 3G.
for 3G Tab, you could try out Broodcom ROM like ajepyatt recommended. smile.gif I reckon you would get the same result more or less.

The reason is because Sgt lag a bit and I pad is smoother. Is there any apps or tips how to make it much smoother? If only it's much smoother than I will keep it...otherwise I will sell or exchange with I pad 2.... any suggestion? Thanks

sorry, I can't say for sure sweat.gif
but you can try the same combo but with Broodcom ROM instead, since Starbust is only for Wifi.
mainly I think V6 SuperCharger helps a lot in smoothing the launcher. smile.gif

Thanks for thread from xda, went thru the process of rooting and i got this error:-

Nvflash started
rcm version 0X4
Command send failed (usb write failed)

any tips how to solve this? it is something to do with locked version? anyway i got the SGT from SenQ, Malaysia.
*
I don't think it has anything to do with it being "locked", SGT isn't "locked" in any form as far as I know, you must have missed one of the steps?

for ROOT users, try out Honeybar, what it does is hide/unhide the notification bar by touching on a specific area (for most tab, its right at the center, but for Touchwiz users, its on the left side of the TouchWiz arrow), there will be a white indicator for the area which can be turned off manually or after 10 uses.
Make sure after installing the app, open it for setup. One problem is that its not available in our market, so you'll have to search it for yourself *ahem brows.gif

couple this with web browser Quick Control you'll get a FULL SCREEN web browsing experience,
for those who doesn't know yet, to enable Quick Control, in the browser -> Settings -> Labs -> Quick Control. This will hide the Tabs bar, and enable a quick control menu when u swipe from the left/right edge of the screen.

Try it!

Applicable for 3G as well ? icon_question.gif

do you mean the V6 SuperCharger or the folder app?

either way, both are applicable for 3G Tab.

QUOTE(irone @ Sep 19 2011, 03:38 PM)
do you permanently setcpu to 1.4ghz? use on demand or performance?
*
probably on demand. Performance setting will eat up your battery super fast.

Wanna check with you guys/gals here, does the Dolphin browser (if there's 1 for Honeycomb) supports the Webzine interface like on iPad's?

What is Webzine? If you have iPad + Dolphin browser, goto venturebeat.com, then click at the Webzine bar at bottom to see. Very interesting interface done up on HTML. smile.gif

Yes.

Great advice. Done with it, feel better right now. Any tweaking that you would suggest? Flashing next? Hehe  smile.gif

to get the best performance, you'll have to do a bit more work if you don't mind.
flash a custom ROM (Broodcom is recommended in this case since you're using 3G Tab) + flash pershoot 1.4Ghz kernel (so you'll be able to OC up to 1.4Ghz) + install V6 SuperCharger script.

Thanks, did the 3 steps and flashed completed.

OC to 1.4 also now.
But some quick question on recommended settings.
1. SetCpu apps in Task Manager must always open, right?
2. On demand, Set on boot clicked, Min 312 and Max 1400.
That should be fine, right?

Next task, V6.
*
SetCPU don't have to be in Task Manager, it'll run in the background.
Everything else is fine.
