It's normal... Tab's system taken it then we just have the remaining of it which's less than 1GB for sure..
Same like PC or laptop.. If you have 4gb RAM, then you will be able to use till 3.6-3.8 GB only... your Windows had taken 0.2-0.4GB to run the system...

Just switched to BinDroid ROM.. LOL! Will update later as I'm on my way recovering my apps now...
Although with Touchwiz UX, I feel satisfied with this ROM because of fast switching between apps and I think it's slightly smooth compare to Overcome.. nod.gif

LOL! Anyway, you should try on BinDroid ROM.. Smoother than Overcome... I can guarantee you although with Touchwiz UX on the board...

No, you need to flash stock ROM using ODIN 1st or can be said reset your tab back.. Just follow Broodcom way.. And then restart your tab then flash CWM using ODIN too.. (make sure that both procedure must be done in Download mode instead of Recovery mode..)
Then, you are free to flash BinDroid ROM..
I think I will stick to this ROM for a while because I hate backup procedure.. taking too long time.. sad.gif

P/s: please, don't just download the ROM and then flash it using your current CWM.. Redundancy may happen and your Tab will be in mess..

There's not so much different if we compare to 8.9 and 10.1.. Screen size, and battery.. But 8.9 gain ppi more than 10.1 for sure...

At last, BinDroid ROM has it own init.d support.. so, this time I managed to run V6 supercharger..
Although not so much differences compare to pershoot kernel ability, I can still feel my tab had been supercharged! thumbup.gif

Well, so far no repeating forced close with any newly installed apps or games and heavy rendered flash browser if I compare to Overcome v2.1.1.. Plus, this ROM came with fully designed theme but unfortunately TW is there.. But, I can feel it run smoothly although with those heavy customized+TW..
Yes, the site is quite confusing for me before.. But, nothing will stopped me from getting this awesome ROM on board..

I'm afraid with just install through cwm will get the right result.. There're some posts claimed that their tablet in a full mess after just doing that.. Im suggesting that use ODIN if u wanna switch from different ROM.. That's the safest way around.. nod.gif

Yeah, I think right now in this thread, I'm the only one using BinDroid.. It's not a huge jump of performance from Overcome but then at least I can use supercharger now.. brows.gif
TBH, I'm looking for vanilla ROM right now.. Kinda dissapointed with bugs on heavy 'tuned' rom.. No matter which ROM you will port on your Tab, at least there will be one time your tab will freeze and reboot itself.. Same apply to Overcome or Bindroid..
Please, someone.. Ditch all nonsense UI.. Gimme pure vanilla experience.. unsure.gif

Does it for real don't have any issue with sudden freeze on official ROM? I really don't spend much time with official one.. The only reason was the speed itself.. So annoying especially when you wanna switch between apps or games and going from landscape to potrait.. Anyway, there is a way to use supercharge on overcome.. But, I don't think I will stay on any ROM for so long.. That's why I keep on looking for the best.. And yet, it still didnt coming.. unsure.gif

Compass issue: I have to admit that it's not accurate especially when using any compass apps.. But, with google maps or any navi apps just show me exactly (not 100% perfect anyway) where I am standing.. I think maybe apps compability.. hmm.gif

But someone asked back then so other than browsing and gaming, make my tab as a route guidance is almost a no-no.. Sorry.. I think I have to move on.. I guess you're using wifi only tab right?
I have one minor opinion here.. Don't go for a ROM that you think really nice.. So colourful.. (yes, BinDroid..) As you will face unwanted freezing time everytime you install new app or game.. Happened to me before.. Nothing wrong if you wanna try Bindroid.. Later you can only flash the new ROM with data wipe.. That's all.. nod.gif

p/s: heavy 'tuned' ROM is not performance guaranteed..

I have Titanium Backup Pro.. I bought it for like USD5.. TBH, it's easier than the free version one.. And so much useful.. Go ahead if you feel you will stay on Android arena for a decade... tongue.gif
