you can customize the placing of the arrow pad on your 3DS screen - bear in mind the demo doesn't allow you to customize the bottom screen but in the actual game you can. you can even enlarge/resize the arrow pad to your liking.

also, a circle pad pro will fix all your woes.

To debunk the common "myth" that this game can never be controlled as well on 3DS here's an image of the feature that Capcom built for us



may not be so obvious in screenshot but I prefer and made the right d-pad slightly narrower in size and moved it all the way to right of touchscreen area. Also u have the monster lock on button

i will get both versions but most likely multiplayer will be thru Wii U. the 3DS is when i want it fully portable eg. travelling for work, lazy switch on console/tv/ac adapters, etc.

Sadly no.

our save files can be played between a 3DS and Wii U - has to be same region of course. the news is just letting us know that while we're on US Wii U console, we can still play with EU players, and vice versa.

hmm... can consider getting a WiiU then.. hehehe.. how much do they cost nowadays?

Really long time since I play MonHun with you guys! Though I'm getting the 3DS one first and the Wii U later.

Don't have Wii U yet. =/

RM1499 for a 32GB Deluxe or Premium US based console. What is deterring me away from this is the warranty - seeing all this are "imported" stuffs.

Am looking to get back to hunting on a WiiU.

Anyone has the WiiU and 3DS with MH3U demo installed and do not mind to give me a quick 30 minutes run over it? Reason being is that I am hearing the controls is way different as my hunting experience were mainly on the PSP consoles and I would like to experience this first hand. I would make your time worthwhile - say a good meal and coffee?

other than the target camera and customizable touch screen (and right analog for camera (3ds must use ccp)) i believe all the same...
since you came from psp one, probably need some time to get used on 'not' clawing

yes, the controls are pretty much the same for 3DS vs PSP, but the "feeling" very different from PSP. I personally prefer the PSP one, with the thicker body for a better grip. Maybe with the Circle Pad Pro it will be better with the grooved grips.

yup just bought a ccp for 3ds xl and the handling is waaaay better

Just realise when u start the demo, it says the game doesn't support the CPP. Will it be the same for the full retail version?

The full game supports the CPP. I'm a MH3G player
