When I just want to trim a mp4 file with Quicktime, it re-encodes the video which is time consuming and drop quality.

Any apps to recommend just simple trimming without re-encode?

No we don't need it. Only use CleanMyMac to clean some caches.

You can use ffmpeg to trim a mp4 file without re-encoding but where you can start and end the trim will depend on your i-frames (keyframes) in your original video file.

Hi I'm still using snow leopard cuz I'm using a macbook 2,1. Any software you guys recommend for resizing the finder? It's a hassle because the files won't auto arrange when you resize the finder. Thanks! biggrin.gif

TS should update these apps on the front page too:

TenFourFox: Mac browser for vintage powermac / powerbook / ibook user (update based on Mozilla Firefox latest version) who still using 10.4/10.5 os x version, so they don't feel like being abandon. [For Mac PPC only!]

Classilla: A Secure web browser for the one who still using the old machine running classic Mac OS 9. (This one follows Mozilla Firefox update too!)

AppCleaner: Great application for properly deleting applications, widgets, preference panes and plug-ins.

Colloguy: Basic IRC client for mac

IceClean: IceClean contains an abundance of features stored throughout various menus, which include repairing disk permissions, routine maintenance scripts, clearing caches, looking up network info and force ejecting CDs/DVDs.

Aptana Studio: Aptana Studio is excellent for editing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS and offers Live Previews in any web browsers you have.

I personally not recommending MacKeeper since there's a lot of negative feedback from a lot of Mac adopters, I recommended CleanMyMac but it's not a freeware.
