Mamba is way overpriced, but I like the dpi control & wireless mode. However it's kind of a tiring routine to charge it up, either wire it up with the cable or let it sit on the dock.

I don't know how the Mamba 4G's configurator and synapse works. But as for 3.5G, writing the config into the mouse takes a little time that not worth the wait.

There might be pros and cons, but as long as the mouse works fine, I'm okay with it. I have mine for almost 10 months already, RMAed once after a month I got it from the shop. Then all good until now. We'll see.

Good proc? I don't need it. My 3DMark Vantage and 3DMark 11 GPU score alone is on par with a rig with 2500k @ 4.5GHz. I mostly play FPS.

nooooooooo, SS Xai is only RM249 or you can go for Sensei too. Way much better than Mamba or even Mamba 4G..unless if you really want wireless features then G700 isn't that bad too.

I only can say it's up to the user's preference. I can't endorse you to get any mouse, but I believe I have stated a few points on my previous posts.

If you like the "feel" of Mamba, pehaps you could try it or borrow it before you buy, then perhaps you might as well purchase it.

The utmost reason I keep my Mamba because I like the feel.

Forget about Mamba if your hand sweat alot. It will become sticky after long period.

i thought all those people with sweaty hands will have the sticky issues with rubberized mice???
last time i use my death adder also very sticky especially in hot weathers, plus my room no air-cond....

is all razer mouse is rubber except for the special edition which is glossy..?

Yeah, guess so? Abyssus etc. DA DA2 edition top is also glossy, but not quite sure about the sides. DA BE sides is rubber, top is plastic

Added on January 8, 2012, 4:16 pmyou can go ahead if the 'feel' matters a lot to you, but don't regret that I didn't tell you about the crappy sensor. IMHO, I would get DA over Mamba anytime if you want that kind of egro shape..the sensor is miles better.
