GPS software is only as good as the map. Meaning the map is most important. Here in malaysia for android papago have the most update from MFM.
hmm is garmin using the same map as papago?SAMSUNG GALAXY S II Official thread V13, NEW Users - be SMART user :read page 1

QUOTE(kkyen84 @ Sep 6 2011, 05:19 PM) the term 'overheat' refers to when a device is so hot, the device shuts down, which in the SGS2 case, never happens =) and please dont complain about hotness, this is running dual core 1.2ghz, ur dual core 1.2ghz laptop hot or not? |

QUOTE(kkyen84 @ Sep 6 2011, 05:56 PM) i din ask him what is the temperature but as he told me even you lock your phone and put inside your pocket your phone still can generate heat(you feel not comfortable that type) . wow, his cock story very powderful ah! unless you're running something in the background, playing music/downloading/transfering files while screen is off, yes it will generate heat(duh, tell me an electronic device that does not generate heat) but sadly you wont feel a thing of course, android system gives you freedom to manage your apps and to multitask, this could potentially lead to battery drain and high temperature, my only advise is DO NOT USE TASK MANAGERS/TASK KILLERS last time people use this because they need more ram, but i can tell you, i barely use up even 60% of my ram This post has been edited by destEX: Sep 6 2011, 06:09 PM |

ok dowan flame ad back to topic
so i was planning to try that lower brightness mod, saw it long ago but because no cwm flashable .zip i lazy wanna try then i realise that the modding requires changing of framework.apk, this means i have to do it every time i flash a new rom or flash a new theme and the steps to do it is quite long then i remember someone in the previous version shared an app before that helps reduce brightness, so here i re-share again https://market.android.com/details?id=com.haxor&hl=en screen filter » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by destEX: Sep 6 2011, 06:19 PM |

QUOTE(mickychunnie @ Sep 7 2011, 09:39 PM) ok thanks shizuru ^^ epic question btw where can i enable bluetooth in my phone? i can't find the bluetooth settings QUOTE(ashwin1234 @ Sep 7 2011, 11:52 PM) Tested Asphalt 6.....30 mins, wifi on, medium brightness= 19% drop in battery. yes sad to say the fix so far is by changing to android 2.3.4, as far as i know this is due to asphalt 6 not fully utilizing the GPU or our GPU is incompatible with asphalt 6 so cant 'step up' the GPU, GPU has 2 states, 180mhz and 267mhz overclockable to 400mhzIs it me or are the framerates kinda low? GT Racing: Motor Academy has much better framerates, but in a normal race, 1 minute= 1% battery This post has been edited by destEX: Sep 8 2011, 01:28 AM |
