Pertama sekali, Welcome to your worst nightmare...!

Alza ni kan Kereta Mudah Terbakar... Nak buat tambahan kat wiring lagi ke...? Biasanya kalo P2 tak dapat cari punca kerosakan, memang logiknya kena cabutkan kesemua tambahan yg melibatkan pengubahsuaian wiring ni...

Thx bro. Pakai CAN system ape benda ntah... Still tersadai Kat SC. Adohai.

Hi,

This thing happen to me just now after I parked my car I heard like water/liquid dripping on a metal thing. This is around engine area. The sound is like water dripping into empty milo tin. Drop by drop, the interval between each drop is like 3/4 second. Kinda funny to hear this suddenly. Anyone experience this? Is it air cond water? Even it is air cond water I think it should drip to the ground and not to any metal area in the car.
Should I be worried?

I would say it's normal... Other cars also have that, just that the frequency is a lot higher on the Alza, as if the car ran out of breath after a long strenous sprint... sweat.gif sweat.gif

Dear bro... thanks for your advice. Will try that and see if works.. .apparently direct plug in with the ipod cable, shows connected and charging on the ipod but the HU screen just shown "USB" and when i press "Play" button, "Failed" shown.

Good for you to get your iphone working. smile.gif
*
Does yours comes with the multimedia display, or the standard HU...? Coz mine's standard, and the USB port does not charge my iPhone at all... It's purely for music playback on USB pendrive...

I guess you didn't read previous thread (ain't nobody got time for that). Alza aircon water does drop onto metal (steering rack) and that the sound you heard. Sometimes this water will corrode that metal. Use torch light to see if everything ok down there.

I thought this has been fixed by P2 (got major recall last year/before that) that is why i posted here.

Mine is new car, not even a month. I am not sure got how many point for the water to come out but I saw one (try to snap pic but not enough ligthing to capture that area) but that was not the source of the noise. I think it came from the right side of the engine which you cannot suluh lampu one.

how old is your car? that is a bit to pricey..

what mini turbo are u using? .. i dont think it will destroy the ecu. unless something short circuit it..

if it is beyond warranty, i suggest you go for recond or taiwan spare part. talk to your P2 technical advisor.

Im lucky to have a great technical advisor, who would recommend what the best ROI (return of investment) ..

When i maintain my old kelisa in P2, most of the major repair are done in P2 bu the part he sought it else where.

Seem legit and cheap! sweat.gif

that does not like a turbo device at all smile.gif . by right it should not interfere with your wiring system and kill the ECU.

Something else does. Could be the the player or other wiring installation that you have done b4.

hmm.. i think i read about the thingy you install before.. it reduce or adjust the air intake to the manifold ..some sort.. forgot oledy.

adjust of air intake will affect ECU.

because ECU will adjust ratio of petrol follow air intake.

there are some sensor about air. volume and pressure I think sweat.gif (can't recall)

a friend of mine Alza install double F1-Z launcher (with spin blade) and drive from sungai besi toll till air keroh all the way with high speed 150-180km/h.

end up check engine LED light up. then slow drive 80km/h from air keroh back to KL doh.gif

after check at SC result some error code occur in ECU hmm.gif , air sensor part. luckily reset can solve the problem.
