Yeah, Alza has more spacious 2nd row compared to GL, but Note also seem to have that spacious 2nd row...

Alza wheelbase is the same as innova at 2750mm. Same horsepower as livina at 104. Not sure what does Kg/Nm for. Is it power to weight ratio?

Hi guys. Need to seek some advice from you. I'm planning to buy alza for my daily drive to work PJ to KL about 55k to office and back and for family car as well. After reading from the first page about the problems and defects on Alza, is it worth buying and gives headache for fixing and sending back SC for replace parts and etc?

if you have more budget, better avoid to buy Alza......Alza mostly for people who has limited budget or with low requirement/expectation....Anyway, Alza is sufficient enough to be a daily car and family car.....my alza fit almost 6-7 adults and 2 kids if go out dining or shopping.....

alza don't have enough power for speeding and less responding...most of the time, i drive like turtle....press petal more also no respond.....speechless.....

With all the negative reviews that I read, I was afraid to buy alza too but because I have no other choice to fit the budget, I bought the alza. Currently it has done more than 2000Km. Done long distant too. Thank God, there is no major or those problems reported affecting my alza. Hopefully it stay problems free. Looking at my case, there is no problem for me to recommend other ppl to buy alza but like I said. It's all depend on your luck.

Agree....Alza is really sufficient if budget is limited......But I still will tell my friend, if budget allowed, don't choose alza.....but of course, friend who are rich sure will look for more expensive car....

that why perodua still earn big money because a lot of people still can't earn enough...........myvi and alza still rue the world....

All those MAJOR problems are enough to detract me from recommending this car to others... With that in mind, anyone can be very lucky enough to get a defective car...

Just look at the NVH... This one will definitely plague ALL alzas... A word of advise to those travelling long distance often... The road noise intrusion from the lousy tyres and untreated acoustics will be enough to cause fatigues behind the wheels... Who in the right mind would wanna endanger themselves and indeed other road users by driving a fatigue-induced car...

This car more than enough to do the job, can fetch 7 people from point A to point B.. I believe the engine and absorber can last long too, but not a luxury drive.. tongue.gif

Thanks for the advice.
sigh....I don't have the budget and alza is the most i can get. After knowing all these problems, it really made me to reconsider about this MPV...sigh...but I have no choice.

I used to owned Toyota Avanza 1.3. The ride is terrible.

I would like to ask, does Alza is has a bumpy ride on the back seat? The second roll not the third roll. As for Avanza is terrible bumpy on the 2nd and 3rd roll. What about ALZA?

It will still be bumpy, but not as bad as Avanza...

3rd row seat suitable for kids, but not adults... without 3rd row, 2nd row can sit pretty comfortably (ride comfort is another story altogether)...

I always see my passengers fall asleep whenever I drive, either it's too comfy for them, or the road noise induced fatigues that they get tired en route...

As for road noises, alza is quieter than my previous persona. Maybe not as good as honda city and such. Ride is definitely bumpier (firmer spring to accommodate xtra load). Not so bad if full passenger + luggage

While problem 2 was reported here, I've read about both problems being reported in MyAlza forums... go back to P2 and have them sort it out...

So it's better not to put in any spring coil buffer? I'm keeping my eyes on watya tbh.

IMHO the suspension setting is already too firm for driving solo. With spring coil buffer, I think it will be worst unless your car is always full of passenger al the time.

This one I concur... Damn thing too stiff and bumpy... I enjoy my ride when there are passengers at the back, but sadly more passengers means more weight on an already underpowered car...

Have anyone wonder where the passenger side air bag is? There is no 'area' indicator like myvi, avanza etc.
