52 is the reversed number of ade previous squad no, 25..

nope the reason why he chose is because 52 is his reserve team number last time where during tat time he did perform well.

Why are people making up more and more stories?

QUOTE
Nicklas Bendtner plays with the number 52 on his back, but actually his favourite number is 7. But when he joined the Arsenal team, the number 7 was already taken by the Czech Tomas Rosicky. So when Nicklas Bendtner was presented with the opportunity to change his old number 26 before the season 2009/10, he chose the number 52 because 5 and 2 equals 7. He also thinks that 52 sound good.

Arsenal fear they could be without Jack Wilshere for at least three months.

The 19-year-old midfield star has failed to start a competitive game this season because of a persistent problem with his right ankle.

He is currently wearing a surgical boot – and it will stay on for another month as the club attempt to manage the injury conservatively.

It comes as a massive blow to under-fire Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and also Fabio Capello, who will be without him for the remaining Euro 2012 qualifiers.

Arsenal’s medical team are hoping that when he starts a light training programme in mid-October, the rest will have sorted the problem.

But if Wilshere breaks down again, then the insertion of a screw into the joint may be needed – and that could keep him out until December.

Arsenal have consulted specialists worldwide through their network of contacts about how to manage the injury which was aggravated while playing for England against Switzerland in June.

During the 2-2 draw at Wembley, Wilshere was on the receiving end of a heavy tackle and did not feel comfortable after a week or two of pre-season training.

He tried to make the second leg of the Champions League qualifier against Udinese 11 days ago, but was not ready.

Arsenal are now determined that when he does return, he will be fit and pain-free.

Wilshere is at the fledgling stage of what promises to be a glittering career and boss Wenger wants to avoid giving the young star a series of pain-killing injections or to mismanage what could be a difficult problem.

That course of treatment will merely mask the effects of the injury. Wenger and the medical team want a cure.

The club feel that the long-term well-being of Wilshere is paramount and Wenger acted on the last day of the transfer window to ensure he has substantial cover in central midfield.

He signed Mikel Arteta (below) from Everton for £10million and also secured a loan deal for Yossi Benayoun from Chelsea for the season.

Meanwhile, full-back Kieran Gibbs has given Arsenal a boost by returning to full training following his recent problems.

As long everyone willing to track back and press opponent, dm is less important as it seems. We rely too much on individual defense effort instead of the team. Like it or not, barca pressing game is one of the good thing we could learn from.

Btw, as I remembered, our little andrei took a paycut to join us.

I rather believe his official website regardless of whether it's PR shit, instead of detractors who have made up their minds to hate him for life and criticise everything he does.

Supporters support, haters gonna hate.

Well he's already gone in my mind so I can hate him all I want. Enough talking about Bendtner though, as a hater I seem to talk a lot about him. tongue.gif

For Wilshere I think it's just a possibility and not a confirmation that he will be out 3 months. Can't wait to see how will our new players against Swansea. It really feels like the season has only started. What a difference can a few correct decisions from Wenger can do to my expectation and hope for this season. Keep it up for January transfer window.

Nah, Frimpong has Arsenal DNA if I not mistaken tongue.gif
New Vieira in the making....
I guess soon we will have new Vieira and new Fabregas together in the future with Wilshere and Frimpong...
A midfield of Chamberlain-Frimpong-Wilshere-Ryo will be unstoppable!

Arsene's a genius! notworthy.gif
